Thank you Members of YT Most recently I have been struck anew, by the caring and concern that is evidenced in so many threads here on YT. In a Senior Yorkie thread, our members came together, and we all shared and learned from one another, some coping solutions with a senior Yorkie, some meds that might help. After all let's face it, if we are lucky enough to have our beloved Yorkie live a long life, we too may have to deal with dementia, and other conditions that may happen as our pups age. There was a recent or even two recent threads about heart murmurs, and once again our members stepped up, to share, to support, to offer their knowledge, etc. In the breeders forum, a good thread about testing, the why's, wherefore's the shortcomings. We have rant threads, we have rave threads, we have threads that could and do make you cry aloud. We are a very diverse community of 60,000 souls or so, and yet we have so many members who unselfishly share, their concern, their advice, their hopes that your dog will heal, will be well for you for a long time. I personally have learned so much, and in this learning it has inspired me to learn even more. I have made some good friends here. Have been brought into the life of so many ppl, I don't even know the face of. But I feel I've caught sight of your heart and soul through your posts. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.:love: |

I agree! |
I agree! I am always amazed by how many helpful people there are on YT. I have seen everything from people offering advice to someone with a sick yorkie, (this meant a lot to me when Louis had pancreatitis a few months ago!) to people going out of there way to find a certain item that another YTer wants. For example, Target had dog tents for $2.50 last winter, and a lot of people couldn't find them. There were quite a few members that picked up one for another member who couldn't find one at their Target. That means going out of there way to go to Target and then to the post office, just to mail a tent for someone they have never met!:) |
You definitely found the right words to say what I was feeling! And I thank you too! |
It is a wonderful place with caring people. |

Gail, your posts often have a way of bringing members together, and you bring out the best of YT. This is so beautifully put and so very true. I am moved to tears by the compassion of others that I see on a daily basis on YT, and I am grateful to the members who give of themselves, their wisdom, their hearts, and their friendship. |

I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone here. I knew nothing when I got my Harley, and now I know a lot more. Even better, I know where to go when I have a question or just need some support. I might not post much, but I read the boards every day! Thanks again! |
