Not that I didn't teach them to come as that was always said. Like come here or come on let's go or even just saying their names. I also make the come here sign with my hands and they come. But I think as time goes on and the more attached she gets to you, you become the one and only in her life! She will soon follow you everywhere. To the bathroom, getting a cup of soda, making "dinner" (mines favorite time) I feel so guilty because I sit down and they get comfortable and then I get up b/c I forgot something and they all get up to follow. LOL! Sure she will always get excited when you have guests over and as she gets older let her know to calm down and sit down. She will in no time catch on. She will say hi friends and then go and lay down. That's what mine do.
Usually when I have friends at the door I tell them go lay down. They do, then the guest will sit on the sofa and my babies will come over to say hi then I say go lay down and they will usually lay by me or pick a spot next to my guest and get comfy. I hope this helps. |
