Babydoll Face?
 
Good morning,
I am just learning that Yorkies can have a "babydoll face". What is the difference in a regular Yorkie face and a babydoll face? Is the babydoll face unique? If you have a choice between the two which would you choose? If you have pictures would you show me? Thank you.

I have been told I do not have a babydoll face, so I have no idea. I like the Chewbacca look myself.

lol....No Steve....you do not have a babydoll face....btw...we like the Yoda look:D

OP....generally a babydoll face is a term exploiting breeders use to describe the length of muzzle and sometimes bigger, round eyes on a yorkie. Those with mushed in faces or shorter muzzle would be considered a babydoll face. While I don't care for the look of a longer muzzle, I don't care for the really short ones either.....like Goldilocks, I want it just "right":)

You have to be careful because some breeders just use this as a marketing term to make more money

This is my Sebastian. I bred him myself and, while I wasn't trying for a short muzzle I got one with him. Plus he has big eyes. His sister (in my avatar) has a normal muzzle and almond shaped eyes. He is so cute IMO and a spoiled little boy. I guess some would call this a baby doll face or a teddy bear face. I just call him cute. :)

So cute! Great vest as well. I'm looking for a vest with d-ring so my baby won't be cold when winter comes. My harness is not adjustable and cannot fit clothes underneath. Still searching...

There are many degree's of the "baby doll face", but generally its pertaining to the length of the muzzle. I personally prefer a shorter square muzzle. I am seeing alot of pictures from dog shows with dogs with this look and its very stunning.

I've been told Roxie has a babydoll face. She has big, round eyes and a short muzzle.

He's a cutie! I've got a Sebastian too! He's my baby boy! Me n him are like peanut butter and jelly!
