I got a call from them and pretty much, it's summed up that I live too far from them. I completly understand;) I guess I didn't consider the fact that alot of these babies will require vet visit's and they don't have any set up in my area. Maybe next time.

I got an e-mail :

"Please be patient with us we have been busy with the intake of the dogs. All of these dogs are not very socialized so we need very experienced people that have dealt with dogs who were used for nothing but breeding. We will be contacting you sometime next week. "



I let them know that I had had dachsie rescues in the past that were from a puppy mill that was closed down in 1999. So, I think they will know that most of them were used for nothing but breeding.
The poor things had obviously never been in a house before. Took a while to get them socialized.
I just hate that puppy mills are in existence:mad::mad::mad:

I just got a call!
The Yorkies are all taken care of but would I take a chihuahua or other small breed.

Of course I said I didn't mind although I let her know I have no experience with chihuahuas. We had a long chat. She did say we would have to go to Orlando to pick the dog up (not sure how I am going to manage that part yet as I don't travel well), and when we go on our cruise they will take the dog back for that week.
She is going to be back in touch with me in a couple of days when they have vetted all the dogs they have.

Looks like I will be a foster mom soon.
