Tomorrow is the Big Day
 

tomorrow morning I go pick up my new baby girl!! Im soooooo excited!! I will be posting pictures as soon as I get her home and settled in.. please send out your prayers as I believe in praying for everything, pray for safe travels, a happy healthy puppy, clean vet check and all things involved.. Thanks everyone and cant wait to share with you all :-):D

OMG!!! I am so excited for you. And we are neighbors!! I live in northeast MS. Where are you going to get your Yorkie? I have had Sophie for about 4 months....she will be 7 months on Sept. 23. I will be praying for a safe trip for you and your new bundle of joy. Keep us updated!!

hey everyone!! thanks for you thoughts and prayers!! She is finally home and resting in her crate.. she's had a long day as have I.. I was sooo excited I definitely didnt sleep much last night. Anyways about our day: we went to pick her up today about 2 hours away.. the breeder was very sweet and we had a 30 minute conversation about things to look for, know training etc. on the way home she had some car sickness and vomited.. I felt soo bad.. we immediately took her to her vet for her check up and to make sure all was as it should be. The vet gave her a clean bill of health and agreed the vomit was due to carsickness probably.. had a fecal exam came back negative... she is about 11 weeks and weighs 2.3 pounds right now.. anyways we got her home and she didnt really eat or drink so Im keeping an eye on her for hypoglycemia and have sugar on standby because petsmart was out of nutrical.. sooo.. the vet said she was ok to go outside to start potty training as long as its only in our yard where no other dogs have been.. I take her outside and she was having a field day running or jumping lol.. our backyard is fenced in and kind of has a nature trail kind of thing and as I was walking her through there I notice a PIT BULL on the street so of course I freaked out but remained quiet to keep it from hearing us. I scoop her up and immediately start making my way quickly back to the house.. before I could get up to the stairs on my backporch I look behind me and the pit bull has made its way into our backyard.. AHHHHHHHH scared me to death.. at this point the dog hasnt seen us but my heart is beating hysterically.. I get in the house unnoticed but I am LIVID that we arent safe in our own yard.. that is the second time that dog has been in our yard and it belongs to someone I saw a collar.. I called the city hall and they said if the dog comes back or is posing a threat call the sheriff immediately.. sorry this is soo long but it was an eventful day.. whew.!! all that being said I love her dearly and oh yeah.. I've named her Nala Nicole :-) these are just pics from my phone will post better ones asap.. thanks again everyone

I'm sure the vomit is from car sickness. Also, please keep her away from other dogs until she gets her shots. That means - don't even bring her in your backyard if other dogs go there.

thanks!! after I saw that pit bull back there she wont be outside anymore.. makes me angry we cant even enjoy our own backyard because people dont make sure their dogs are properly contained
