How do you like to spoil your little one??? So Taycie and Mommy are just curious? How do you like to spoil your furbabies?.. I mean there is the food treats etc.. But do you ever find yourself doing things you never thought you would just for the heck of it? Well for Taycie... she Likes Evian... I am sure she does not care what water she drinks but I love going down the water Isle at the grocery store and buying fun water.. Figi is good and on Holidays we buy Aqua Panna for celebration! .. Laundry? ..I buy Dreft! Yes I wash her clothes and all her blankets in dreft.. why, cause it smells devine! And she is my baby! I recently bought her a giant fluffy rug for her x pen and tied giant pink bows on the corners! It is so cute! She has a Pet Armoire (that I found at TJ Maxx for 40!) Steal of a DEAL! Tons of Baby Blankets... Carter brand is our favorite! We have a nightly routine of brushing our teeth washing our face brushing our hair and snuggling in our pjs before we snuggle into bed! ... Yes she sleeps with me and has so since the day I brought her home!... So I guess my question should be this..what are leaving out?? How else can I spoil the heck out of her??? |

Boy I guess I spoil Scoots by buying him tons of toys. He loses interest in most but has his favorites. I also spoil him with lots and lots of kissing and hugging. He's my baby and I adore him. |
You name it, we do it. DH says we are subservent to Zhoie girlie...and yep, we are. She will be 20 mos on the 25th and it's like the list of her likes and dislikes just keeps growing, lol. Here is the latest....for about 3 wks now, when we go to bed, I always take a glass of water, well, one night DH gave her a drink of out o my glass......so you guess it, everynight, she simply has to have a drink before laying down!! hahahaha:D |

Oh gosh. Jackson is spoiled rotten. Usually it's with things he could care less about.... like new collars, harnesses, tags, shirts, etc. Lol. I think I have more fun with those. The things HE loves.... the dog park, visiting my dads house, going for walks, which he gets a ton of. He pretty much shares a little taste of everything I eat, minus the really bad stuff, so he always waits for the last bite. He gets great dinners-usually kibble mixed with good wet food and I try to always have some human food like chicken, etc, to put in there. He has a great life, lol |
Oh how could I have forgotten...In addition to his kibble, I make Scooter ground chicken mixed with chicken breast and he has this every evening when we have our meal. He also likes baby canned meat, but only lamb not beef or chicken. I mentioned to the butcher how much Scooter loved the ground chicken and he gave me the weirdest look. |
Been there, done that! Nothing is too good for my babies ;) When they want my attention, even the Prince of Wales would have to wait. I've learned that my fur-kids love their treats, all of their beds, toys, blankies, etc. But, what they love the most is mommy's undivided attention. And I give it generously, so do they  You're doing wonderfully, btw. Love you for it:p It just gives me warm feeling to hear how someone loving their babies the way these little angels deserve :animal-pa |

After reading these posts I guess it's safe to say I hold Gracie every night with her "blankie" before putting her to bed. Carly likes to go to bed on her own so when I say "bedtime" Carly goes to her bed and I put her in and then Gracie comes and gets her one-on-one time with me. Kendra |

my mickey does not like treats! i think its because since he was a pup he would puke them up (allergy) so he's been eating the same food for years (Easier on the tum tum) so over the years we figured out which combo of flavour he likes. and boy is my mickey picky. sometimes our vet doesn't have it in stock. what do we do? we drive 45 mins (our vets just cross the street) to their downtown location to grab his food. and drive back.... also when we give him fruits, he will not eat them unless if they're cut up into the size of half of a grape. if its too small or too big he won't eat it. not sure if this us spoiling him or him being uber picky but we do this because we love him! |

I spoil my babies by taking them literally everywhere with me. They get to go anywhere that momma goes :) I cannot stand to be apart from them, so it is as much for me as it is for them :p |

She gets spoiled with things that she could care less for, like the Swarovski crystal collar that I ordered her. But it's also the little things; like the bottled water with ice in it, the chicken broth over the dog food, the daily brushings, the snuggling at night, etc. My favorite thing to do is to rock her like a little baby. When she is super sleepy, she will let me hold her belly up and rock her to sleep. Her little tongue will hang out if she is super tired, and she will have the kangaroo paws. I love it. |
My little ones get spoiled with treats new toys, and new collors. My mam always keep chicken bits for them when we visit. I cant go anywhere without them on my heel, any time im sitting they have to be on my knee getting cuddles, strokes and kisses. My crystal aswell lies on her back in my arms like a baby like bing rocked and tummy tickled, she sometimes just flopps herself back and i know what she is after. when having a cup of tea crystal will sit look and mee, look at my cup then me then cup and if i havent noticed her she will give a lil moan, lol and right at this moment crystal is all snugged up on my knee while im trying to type this, lol. Bless them, love them too bits, do anything for them. |
Sienna is my spoiled one she loves to tattle on her older sister when she has something Sienna wants and gets a major kick out of me scolding her sister for not sharing. they both get pieces of whatever im eating ( except eggs ) they both hog the bed Sienna is probably a little more spoiled cause shes the baby she gets her way all the time |
Now that my skin kids have grown up and moved away, holidays are only taken with the dogs in mind. I can't bear to leave them behind, so i only ever book dog friendly places to go to. Molly has been to London and York, in very nice hotels and to the seaside 4 times in either dog friendly B&B or caravan. Since Poppy came to live with us 3 months ago, we have been to the seaside for a week, and next week are having 5 days in a log cabin in the beautiful Peak District. My daughter jokes to her friends that her and her brothers have been replaced by dogs! Some of my friends think I am a little crazy, but it's amazing how quickly you fall in love with these little dogs. |
Sophie Kate is a little spoiled, okay a lot. I think probably the one thing she is known for is her lovely pink toenails. Yes, everytime I get her groomed the groomer will paint her toenails pink (she uses a nail polish formulated for dogs). |
Off course I spoil them too. Who doesn't. I usually hold their chewing treats while they chew them. So every time I give them one they take it, run around the house and then they bring it to me to hold while they enjoy it. I also give them to drink from my cup of tea or chamomile before bed time. They love it and it's good for them. And I must'n leave out massaging that calms them down. They practically fall asleep during massaging. Maria |

I forgot to add something. When it is rainy and I have to briefly take my Furbaby out to go potty, I put a towel in the dryer before we go out so she can try off and get warm and cozy when we come back in. She loves it! |

This is a great thread! Before I got Tinkerbell (she is my first yorkie) I never dreamed I would be buying her so much stuff. I just bought her 3 different sweaters/hoodies for Fall and 3 winter coats. I let her chew on bully sticks even though I think the smell is just horrible because she loves them. We take 2 mile walks almost every day because she loves her walks.... I play with her even when I think I am tired because she always manages to convince me... Yep.. she has me right where she wants me...:D |
Toys, toys, toys! And collars and harnesses, and more toys! Stuffed animals...squeaky toys that are annoying but she loves them so much! :-) Treats. And different color leashes...everyday ones and dressier ones. LOL Warm towels after her bath and one to lay on the floor so she can rub herself on it to dry off. A drop or two of ice cream when mommy's having some. I even allowed her to take possession of my softest red fluffy blanket that now covers the floor in her x-pen. |

As with everyone else, I totally spoil Crickett with beds, clothes, toys, treats. But I was amazed when the other night she started going absolutley nuts. I couldn't figure out what it was. Well I had worked late and was really tired. So I popped open a can of vienna sausages for dinner (I know, how awful is that?!?!?!). Crickett smelled the broth and went absolutely insane! At first I wouldn't give her any because I am anti-human food for dogs. (And the sodium sheesh!) But oh my goodness. Even an hour after I took the trash out she was still running into the kitchen trying to jump onto the counter! Finally the next night I popped open another can to "test" my theory. Yep. Absolutely nutso for vienna sausages. Well, I have been having trouble keeping her attention for training her. Hehehe... so now she is allowed ONE sausage which I break up into tiny pea sized morsels which she only gets if she obesy sit / stay. I got her to sit for a whole two minutes last night! I still can NOT believe I caved and am actually doing this... the things we do for our babies! |
