Camden is afraid of shadows, the blender, vacuum, loud noises in general! All three are scared to death of flies, they all run and hide under the bed! They are also scared of storms & if the smoke alarm goes off, forget about it, they are a mess! |

Tia is afraid of thunder. When you mention the word 'rain', she associates it with thunder and tries to climb your leg, then you pick her up and she tries to climb to your head. She doesn't hide; she wants to be picked up. Ally doesn't seem to be afraid like Tia. She is timid, but not afraid. |
The whole gang is afraid of balloons! |
Fireworks, thunder and race cars(Nascar) ! They both go to the races with us and Lily shakes the whole entire time the cars are on the track!:( |
furbut I had a little Maltee girl who passed away at 16 last May and she never got over her fear of slippery floor surfaces. I had to put down area rugs or she wouldn't walk. It was hard when we moved into my new home because the whole house had hardwoods. My other Maltese Casey is afraid of anyone including us wearing gloves, hats, sunglasses. My Yorkie's all are afraid of thunder, and fireworks. Plus Claire is really afraid of bikes when they go by when we go for a walk. All my dogs are afraid of stairs they won't go near them. |
Hank is tremendously afraid of thunder. He hears thunder and runs for one of our laps. My husband will usually just go sit on the couch and hold him until its over. Levi on the other hand is not afraid of anything like that but is very weary of new people and new situations and feels that between my feet is a very good place to be at the time. |
Pasquale is afraid of the hairdryer...and i dont ever use one on him!! If i'm using it...he growls and barks at it. |
My new girl Lilly is afraid of riding in the truck. She was 17 months old when I got her. She shakes and shivers the whole time we are going for a drive. Anyone have any ideas to help her get over this? My other girl Daisy will run and hide when she hears the bath water running.:D |

mines not afraid of much but she isnt a big fan of thunderstorms |
Pistol is afraid of nothing. Sometimes I wish he was afraid of big dogs or high places, but no. |
Prince is terrified of clippers and going to the vet. |
Ruby hates all housecleaning chores. She hides in her tent bed as soon as I start loading the dishwasher. She hates the hairdryer, she shakes the whole time. and doesn't much care for car rides, she shakes and pants. Which you would think she would be over because I take her out A LOT. Leslie |
Sadly enough, my Furbaby is scared of confrontation. We had our first argument last night, and she started whining and shaking. Bless her heart. But I choose the dog over him. (: She's much sweeter. |
Mia is terrified of little kids! And the border collie that is overweight from across the street just walks over and she screams like a little kid! Other than that Mia is as big as a MIGHTY warrier! She seems to think she is big and bad. WHich is our new problem. But so far those are the 2 things she is fearful of. |
I'm with Ruby! I'm afraid of housekeeping chores too. |

OH we also need to add velcro! She acts totally afraid of it when her coat is being opened. it is the sound |
the brush!!! and daisey hates tubs! |
yes in Mia's fantasy world, she would NEVER have to take another bath, no brushes, no bows no dresses or coats. Also chicken would be everywhere and no leashes, gates or fences to stop her from chasing her wildest desires. MORE CHICKEN |

Jackson HATES fireworks. He just hates them so much. He's terrified of the vets office, he pulls the opposite direction when walking in, but he tolerates it pretty well. He's become a lot more cautious in the car after our car accident 2 months ago, he used to enjoy it and now I think he just tolerates it because he knows he's going somewhere good. |

Taycie is TERRIFIED of the dark! If its dark out and I need her to go potty she wont move! Sits and Shakes.. Poor thing... won't do anything! I am a little nervous when fall/winter come and it gets dark at 5pm! |

Wow, interesting thread. I had no idea there was so much work for a dog psychologist out there. My kids aren't scared of anything. They love raspberries on the belly...LOL Baby is slightly leery of the icemaker only because it spontaneously spits out a cube now and again and once it just threw one on her head for no reason. Shocked her. If the fridge makes a gurgley noise when she is right next to it, she'll move away, just in case, doesn't want to get donked again. I don't call that a fear, so much as a learned behavior. |
This should have been really obvious to us, but shockingly enough Darwin is terrified of pinatas - hmm, imagine seeing us beat the living cr*p out of this poor thing. We were having a great time until we saw Darwin under our chair, shaking like a leaf. |
