| Bama got spayed yesterday.... I took her in yesterday morning and cried when I left. It made me just so sad to leave her, especially when she had no idea what was going on. They told me that she would def HAVE to stay overnight I called to check on her and they said she did wonderfully and since she was doing so well they would let her come home that evening I have had this scheduled for a month and also took off of work for the rest of the week just to be home with her. Everyone pretty much laughs at me when I tell them that....oh well, she is our baby She was groggy all night and kept adjusting herself to get comfortable. I slept in the floor with her so she wouldn't try to climb down and fall. This morning she has still been sleeping alot but when I try to get up and do something she will follow me and want loving. When I sit down she crawls in my lap and curls up. I am so glad that I took off work because I would not be able to leave her with her just wanting to be petted some. I was worried that she would be mad at me for putting her through this, but glad to see that she still loves her mommy. |

| I am glad it went so well! I am so nervous about Lulu being spayed but I know it's the best thing for her. I still have a month or so before she will get spayed & I hate thinking about leaving her.

| It is very hard leaving them. I have to leave mine overnight too. Ally did wonderful though; it was me that was a wreck. Tia is due within a month to have her little surgery. She is such a pistol (should have named her that), the vet's office will probably call me early to come get her! ha ha I'm glad your baby is doing good and Ally and Tia send their well-wishes (little puppy kisses) too! |

| Wishing Bama a quick recovery. Glad all went well My little Faith had her spay yesterday too. She mainly just slept. At about 3 in the morning I felt her walking on my pillow so I had to put her in the crate so she would stay still. Today she is back to herself She keeps wanting to play and roam around house. She is driving us nuts as she doesn't want to stay still. Last edited by yasminv1; 08-25-2010 at 10:12 AM. Reason: Typo |

| What a good Momma Bama has! I'm glad to hear you both did well through her spay & recovery, too! ps...I also had to tell ya...when I glanced at your Thread Title, Bama got spayed yesterday, I actually read it to say; Obama got spayed yesterday...hahahaha! That little paw icon looked like an "O" without my glasses on!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I am also taking my little girl in next week for her spay as well! And I am like you I am starting to become a nervous wreck and took work off too. You are right! She is your little girl! I feel the same way about mine! This week I have been trying to prepare myself for it! I going to buy her a new toy and blanket to come home to and I also read on here to modify a child's onesie so she won't be able to lick her "owie" and I felt awful making her wear that giant plastic collar! I am so glad all went well for you and your little one! |
