Friday the 13th.
 

Poppy is making sure that Friday the 13th lives up to its name today..
I woke to find she had shredded her pee pad so there was poop scattered all over the floor.. NOT the thing you want to see first thing in the morning.
Then she decided to have a lovely big wee on my new bed sheets.

Oh and did I mention its raining?

May I suggest you stay home today:D Who knows what awaits you outside...

I'm at work... I dont think it could get any worse then that? :p

P.S. The rain is so heavy I am thinking of building an ark....

Well I'm sorry for your lousy start to the day but I have to admit you gave me a much needed chuckle. Farrah was the same way with the pee pads. And worse she shredded them first and then would pee and poo on the floor.

I'm sorry your day started out rough. At least Poppy sounds like she's having fun. :D

Fynnlie woke up at 5:15 this morning and decided that it was play time. That was super awesome, lemme just tell you. On top of that, it's raining here, too. It's humid as all get out and I'm stuck at work. I'd rather be home with my Fynnerz.

Ah, well... Gotta make the money to buy him stuff, right? I hope your day get's better!

Ooo well Poppy slept well last night.. a little TOO well as I had to shake her pen and then quickly hide to make sure she was still alive! She was SO still and quiet :eek: really not like her LOL.

The rain is sooo heavy here.. I've never seen rain this heavy for a while. :eek:

The car park is flooded... but on the bright side I dont need to wash my car tomorrow anymore. :p

Ha! I canceled a doctors appointment I had today (was just a routine one with the urologist, so nothing important) But no way was I going to the doctors on Friday the 13th. Was his own fault anyway, I had the appointment on Tuesday, and just as we were getting to leave out the door to go his office called and said he was in emergency surgery and they rescheduled it for today. So, now I rescheduled it! (Well, I told them I would call them back and set the next appointment)

I have 8 hours left of Friday the 13th... Oh and did I forget to mention I had a huge argument with my BF? Things just keep getting better! :rolleyes:

My daughter is a hairstylist and when guests were booking their appointments they receptionist would say "ok, you are all set for Friday the 13th" and then the guest would say "ohhhh, can I switch to another day?" The salon only has 15 total guests today . . .that is a real slowwwwww day . . .

LOL! Im not surprised.. I wouldnt want to get my hair done on Friday the 13th either.
Nor would I want to fly, get a tattoo, have an operation, or give birth (incase I gave birth to the son of satan).
Not that Im superstitious or anything... :rolleyes: LOL.

aww man, Hazel is being a little Terror today too! shes REALLY aggressive, and i'm guessing her teeth are bothering her, because she is chewing everything! She even tried biting me! no no no! Whens he gets hyper, aww man, watch out!

Aw noo! Im sure shes an angel, she just has Friday the 13th fever. ;)

My dad had to go out for a few hours this afternoon so Im super worried.. yano with it being Friday the 13th Poppy could well have burnt the house down, you never know. :rolleyes:

this morning instead of peeing on her peepad Sienna politely tapped me on the shoulder with the..umm excuse me mom i hate to wake you but i have to potty look so i consider that lucky to bad it was 450am

Well I'm x'ng my fingers, made it to and back from work. Doggies have been good, car is still working. I've just got to do a few more groceries, then settle in for a good natter.

I have had a fantastic Friday 13th :D Poppy has been as good and gold apart from the poo thing but thats not her fault. I have had a lovely day at work. My BF came home with a bunch of flowers, bottle of wine and a dvd to watch tonight :) Me and Poppy are now cuddled up on the couch all lovely and warm as the rain hits against the window outside... i feel so snuggly :)

I hope all your friday the 13th could have been as fantastic as mine :) xxxx

Hmm remember my post about Beamer being under the shed when it was raining?

Well, today he went out the doggie door around 10:30 this morning. We do have a large fenced in back yard. About 10 minutes later I called him in so I could give him his morning brush and comb. Couldn't see him in the yard at all! Called and called. No answer! So, Bruce went around the yard again looking, he went to the shed and called under for Beamer. No response! He checked the perimeter again, no holes in the fence where he could have got out. Both of us are worried at this point. So, I check out front and call him, just in case he had found a way out. No response! So, I see a guy mowing a neighbours yard, so I ask him if he had seen a little Yorkie. He hadn't but he would keep an eye out for him. So, Bruce gets in the van and drives around the neighbourhood. I go out the back yard again and call Beamer again, no response. I went to the very back of the yard and look over the fence to see if he could have got out at the back. No sign of him.

So, I come back into the house and call a neighbour to see if her daughter would help search for Beamer. As I am on the phone, I look outside again and there is Beamer, just sitting by the shed!!!! I go out and walk towards him and as I get to him he rolls over on his back for a tummy scratch!!!!

I call Bruce on the cell to let him know Beamer is OK.

He went to Home Depot to pick up some fencing stuff to put around the shed.
He hadn't been able to look under the shed, neither of us could get down - and if we could, we could probably never get back up:D

Beamer had to have been under the shed again and just ignored us calling him. Guess it was cooler under the shed than laying in the yard, although he could have come back in through the doggie door anytime he wanted.

What the fascination with the shed is I have no idea - and I have a feeling that if either one of us could get to look under the shed we would find a set of car keys that Bruce has been missing for months.

Yup - Friday the 13th!:D:D

Ok can I join in on the competition?? I think my Friday the 13th may top them all! First of all one of my specialized trucks was on the highway some idiot (I use that word literal) hit the back end of it doing over 60! But he did admit he went to pass a guy and didn't look. Then before I could get back from Western Nebraska our office cat the one I call Adolph when Mia is in the room and she pretends she is Ann Frank. Well he got ran over and we had to say goodbye. I literally got to the vets office when they were done assesing him and there was less than a 5% chance. I think it is a terrible day, wish it would rain to wash away my offices tears. Sorry, and Mia is on my lap staying put.

Ok I have to ask. Were you in your pajamas this time? ha ha :D

Well dentist wasn't that bad today. No cavities! :) But I did get them cleaned and had him check my chipped tooth. Of course the chipped tooth needs a crown; however, that was expected. And we actually got 15 minutes of rain!!!!!!!!:thumbup:
