I, personally, believe that is Mylie in those pictures. It looks just like her. I don't think the puppy ever got into the birth canal and that is why she " made it" after all those hours and a green discharge. As for the c-section scar, I never had a dog with a c-section so I don't know about marks.

Since I'm not a breeder maybe someone could answer my question about tails and dew claws. Isn't it a little late to be removing dew claws and tails at a week old? :confused:

Yes, it does look like her but there is another dam on the website that looks so similar that I can't tell the difference between them.

A c-section scar is the same as a scar for spaying, longways, right down the middle of the lower abdomen. In that little indentation that runs longways down the lower abdomen. You can clearly see that area in several pictures, and there is no incision there. IMO, these not pictures of a dam that has just had a c-section.

I'm no breeder, as you know, but it seems like most say 3-5 days, but this also depends on weight, and some will wait until a pup is over a critical period, but of course you can't wait too long. Breeders who take their dogs to the vet usually wait longer, and I think a week is still in the ballpark, but it’s very close to the cutoff period. I’m glad she’s taking her to a vet, some try to do it themselves, and make a real mess of things, so I’ll give her one thumb up for that.

It's one thing to want to talk about it on YT, which YT is probably getting heat for as well, the bolded above is a really, REALLY bad idea. YT is already seen in such a negative light. Besides, what's the point of fighting fire with fire? We won't get anywhere. If you put up a FB page, another YT $ucks page will pop up. I don't think it's a good idea.

Do warn anyone that comes up on YT asking for information on the breeder. Stick to the facts. She breeds tinies which is a huge risk to the mother.

Yeah I agree, I also think it's a mistake to set her too aside from all the other breeders out there who are doing the same thing. We need to encourage people to find responsible breeders, and to avoid byb's no matter what. I think her story is important because it lets people understand that many breeders are breeding only because they need the money, and they have no true interest in the breed or the dogs. Backyard breeders will go out of business, when people stop buying form them!

You are right, I always do mine on the 3rd day and once had to wait to 5 days because of vet out of town. There is more sensitivity the longer you wait and pain becomes a factor. I am no longer a breeder and I don't even stud now even though my boys are listed in the classified studs. I have to figure out how to get it off there. Disease scare me. Also too many yorkies are needing rescue now. That is why I have 8!!! Someone should find a way to check out the AKC name for sire,dam and owners and see if she is going through a "friend" to register AKC. They should also ask for a copy of the guarantee contract before giving a deposit, ask if she would allow the potential adoptive parents to have their own vet check her out and when at the vet sneak in the question of taking DNA sample right then and there and compare it to "AKC daddy" . Additionally the potential adoptive parents should ask if they can call the vet who checks her out and does the docking of tail and dew claws and if they can talk to a vet about the health and genetics of the sire and dam. Perhaps we need to flood her web page with questions like these. She is so out of line and amoral. I bet she does not own both dogs or if she now owns the sire that there has been a transfer on him and she is most likely fraudulently registering with AKC. Perhaps if it looks like there is an AKC issue we can get her with AKC fraud because I bet the AKC sire info is not the papers that belong to the "real" daddy. I am obsessing and I have tried to keep quiet but I see RED everytime I think about it. I have breed 4 females that were vet checked prior to breeding, almost 3 years old, $1000 set aside in case needed, very experienced, always provide more immunizations, pest prevention and worming way beyond the "standard". Most of the puppies are in home still in this county or adjacent and I am still in touch with the adoptive parents and the dogs. I also insist just before they are ready to take possession that they go with me to my vet to make transfers, get information and make sure they have at least 1 great vet and know what needs to be done from that point on. They really count on us to see to their futures. Sorry for the "volume". Mary

I didn't make a page or anything, but it would be nice to educate others without putting someones good intentions at risk of being attacked. I just think that people, like me, will think "oh, this breeder wouldn't do that", etc. etc. But if I saw something that said breeder X does this and that to put a pup up for sale it would really force me to take a closer look.
Hopefully this thread will surface when someone's researching & it does make a difference, I guess that's all I can hope for.

I'm not a breeder but was learning about mini schnauzers from a local one and her practice (just basic dog stuff years ago to see if it was the right breed for my family-I was lucky enough to meet her) she explained it was standard to the dog breeding (show ppl industry-she had a male at her house for breeding when I went to see her dogs and was considering a pup back then) that females always go to the male because the males are the ones who become under stress and they are less likely to be under stress from exhaustion, not eating, dehydration etc when in their home...is that not the standard for Yorkies?

So she is advertising a 5 day old puppy with full breeding right on EBay! :eek: :thumbdown Anyone what would think for one second this type of practice is acceptable needs to be categorized right along with her! I prefer to surround myself with like minded people who have the same moral compass as I do. So breeders that would associate themselves with her make me just as sick!
