| Color breaking/Coat Despite reading as many posts as I can find on the color transition in Yorkies, I am still befuddled by Fizz's multi-colored 'do'. She has light gold at the roots, dark grey, silver, and an orangy tan. Her body is still black but shows some areas with greyish white roots. The hair on her body is thick and about 2 inches long (I suspect it is a cotton coat) although the texture on her head & front is finer. I know that only time will tell what color she will be - I am just so curious!!! Any educated guesses would be appreciated! She is 16-17 weeks old in the pics.

| Good luck w/knowing the true color of your baby...At the end of the day, it's a crap shoot, at best...At 9 months, Apple had silver/black/gold/blonde on her face...At 21 months old, she is totally, 100% red in her face/head/ears etc...I never saw that coming....W/me being blonde, I was sure she would stay blonde, but I guess she takes after the red-headed milk man lololol... |

| Thanks Misslissa - but honestly, there is no pain involved - only a deep love and my own curious nature. I'm excited to see what will be

| Pixe started out as black and tan. Now at almost 2 years old she is not golden in the face, ears, and legs. The rest of her body is a silver gray color. So who can tell what color the end up being.

| She looks like she has hair like Madison's texture and color at that age. This a picture of her now. She is my sister sweet little girl and is 10 months now in this picture. She has had 3 trips to the groomers already. |

| Kaji will be 2 on Sunday, and his head color is still in the middle of breaking. He's got all the colors you mentioned just on his head. His back is still very dark.

| She's adorable! Fizz will be getting her first haircut next Wednesday, so we'll be able to see the roots a little better
