Thanks! My thread kinda died, so I'll ask here. I re-checked Kaji's winky and it is scabby at the tip where I found some irritation a few days ago. It's in a straight line from the opening down a cm or two. Ann mentioned that it could be a vein, but it looks scabby. I don't know what it is or what I can put on it.
I'd post a picture, but that might be borderline Yorkie porn. ;)

i only know about getting it from the vet. it's a antibacterial, anti fungal and more type product that they have. i'd just take him in for a brief exam and get some of that to be safe.

I do trim it so it's not excessively long either. I've also noticed that the pee string helps him aim. I messed up once and cut it too short, he kept peeing on his front leg. He's just so use to having a pee string.

ha.. I actually wipe him clean too! I just hold him and wipe up what he left. I didn't know anyone did this..

my brother said in shock "...really? Do you wipe his ass too?"

You don't wipe the booty too??!! :eek:

I'm just kidding. He's trimmed back there so I only wipe his booty if he has diarrhea. It gets pretty nasty back there when he's sick. :(

I'm not laughing, and I'm not judging. You should see the looks I get from my male cousins for the little things I already do for Kaji. I'm crazy enough! :D

I keep Gatsby very short down there. but apparently his legs are just far enough apart because he never pees on his legs. when he was a baby he would pee on his belly but when he got older he stopped and i also don't clean him except at night right before bed during nightly groom.

wow now i feel like a bad mom.:(

Hahah this thread is too funny, I do the SAME thing! My BF laughs at me because I have those Pet Head wipes (same brand as Bed Head for humans lol) and I wipe him everytime he goes out and make sure his little booty and weewee are all clean :p That and because he loves to do the little butt scoot around my white carpet hahaha...its the cutest thing ever until you see little brown lines!

scooting on the carpet and leaving brown streaks is actually not usually poop, i mean sometimes they just need to use ur carpet for toilet paper, but usually scooting means they are expressing their anal glands on your carpet ewwww. if they keep scooting you might see a vet tech to get their glands expressed. just a little advice :p

and btw i wipe their pee pees and their bootys for a clean fresh dog. i don't want those butts in my face or on my couch with me :eek:
