| I cannot believe How some people just don't seem to love there pets. i walked up to the library this evening and the heat got the best of me by the time i got back to my house i had a killer headache and was in a biyt of a sour mood. as i round the corner i can just see my front yard and a tiny little black body laying in it. i was freaked out and scared i was convinced Gatsby had gotton out of a lose window(i just had it repaired but it was still the first thing on my mind) and had been hit by a car someone saw his tag and left him in the yard. as i got closer i noticed that the dog was all black not a speck of gold or tan to it so now im calmed down a bit but still worried i get closer and recognize the neighbors schnauzer as i get closer she darts across the road and is nearly hit by a car im screaming for them to stop and running across the road to try and catch her to get her back home when the neighbor opens the door and calls her back in. so i go up to the door and knock determined to give her a piece of my mind about letting her dog run loose so as i am knocking on the front door she sends her boyfriend out the back, he comes up and asks what is wrong i tell him the dog was running loose again he shrugs his shoulders at me i tell him she was almost hit by a car and he says "well that's hardly her fault is it she cannot see cars, she is blind in bout eyes" i was so disgusted i decided to go home and call the neighborhood association and tell them so i simply say "fine, but could you keep her out of my yard the smell will upset my dogs" as im turning to go he says "are you always in this good a mood is is today special" so i said "no normally im a pleasant person but your dog nearly dying in front of me put a bit of a damper on a other wise pleasant day" while im crossing the street i hear him call me a terrible name. adn if that was not enough as i walk in the door my phone starts to ring and its the police asking if i caught my dog and reminding me that if he is caught out again it will be a $200 fine. i redirected them to my neighbor made a cup of tea took two advil and came to vent to all of you lovely people, so thank you for listening

| So sorry you had to go through that. Lot's of cyber hugs your way. You did the right thing, if they don't care for their pet they shouln't have one.

| Are you serious? They leave a blind dog outside by herself risking to get hit by a car??? I don't get some people.

| Some people have unbelievable nerved, don't they? I'm glad you gave them a piece of your mind and redirected the cops to them. Obviously, one of your other neighbors must not like seeing dogs run loose either.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's terrible. If only everyone would love their babies like we do. I feel so bad for dogs with owners like that.

| I'm so sorry that you had to come across people like them. I had my share of people who didn't care for their pets, so understand how you felt. I just don't understand why these people get pets in first place if they are not going to love & care for them.

| I feel so bad for that poor dog and also for you, for being treated the way you were. Shame on them. One of these days, that dog won't be so lucky. Poor baby.

| thanks everyone, I think the worst part for me is that they have a puppy that right now stays in the yard but i know it will only be a matter of time before he goes off across the street and he is very low to the ground i know he wont be seen. I called the president of our neighbors association and she told me that if next time i could take a picture then we could possibly get the dogs taken or have her fined i guess she gets several calls about this woman every week some about the dogs some about the boyfriend some about her kids (who are monsters) but noone has given proof she has broken the rules yet.
