It's been a bittersweet day for Brenda and myself. I know it was a very difficult day for Brenda as she was definitely bonding, really already bonded, with Pogo. I knew on the ride to bring Pogo to her new forever family that it was going to be very hard for Brenda; and it was. It was hard for me too.

We both shed some tears after dropping off Nakita, White Boy and Pogo at the animal hospital where their family members had already set up appts with the vet to have them checked over. :thumbup:

I have some pictures of them but their humans were a bit internet shy so I cropped the pictures to at least show what was important...loving arms holding them. :)

has the wife come home yet and found all her dogs missing?? your very smart to get them into new familys asap then she cant try to take them back

Wow I am glad to see everything worked out. I will keep my eyes open to see if anything new comes up with this situation because I am still interested in getting a new baby.

Hi guys well we spoke with the ASPCA today and were told that puppy mills are not illegal. What is illegal is the way they are treated. So, as long as they have food water and there is not crap and flies to the ceiling they do not want to get involved. Outside the bldg. it was said to call the IRS and hit him where it hurts. So, the lady that red flagged me to this whole situation is going back to the Byrd's house to try and get the other dogs. I told him if all else fails offer him $100. a dog and I will run down with the money. In the mean time here is today's rescue Miss Lady

The story is a ruse. In the past, he was "1)dying of cancer with only 2 months to live; 2) wife sick and dying; 3) both dying" and probably more stories than that.
He has been around duping people for years...
