Just heard there is a couple in Pocomoke Maryland that has a shed full of dogs
 
I just recieved a call about an older couple that live in Pocomoke Maryland. I believe their last name is Byrd has a shed full of Maltese and Yorkies. A customer of mine just red alerted me and a friend of her's just got a few from the man. Supposeable his wife is out of town so he is willing to get rid of some or whatever. I will find out what I can. I am heading down there now to rescue at least 1 little girl that she has and to find out who these people are and shut their butts down. She told me they are very matted and the smell is GOD aweful. I am so boiling mad right now I am crying. Had to share I am so upset. I will be back on line as soon as I get back. If I get a hold of them Oh me oh my LORD PLEASE HELP ME Not to get arrested today!!!

OMG I just feel so bad for all those dogs all in a shed and on top of that it must be hot as anything in there. I hope you are able to get them all out of there. Please keep us updated as you can about what is happening. You are a lifesaver for these dogs.

Oh my gosh :(! Do you have a sense of how many there might be? This is horrible. I'm sure so many would be willing to help if there are more furbabies who need it. If there is no A/C in this shed...I just can't imagine :mad:.

Their should be stronger laws to punish people that treat animals this way.

Thank you for doing your part in relieving whatever amount of doggies that you can from their suffering in that shed! With what I see your local temps are today...it's gotta be hell in that shed for those babies!:(

Please check with reputable local rescues that can assist you if you are not already working with one to help!

The last thing we want is to hear is that these dogs got into the wrong hands for breeding purposes!:thumbdown

Thank you for doing that. And good luck! If you can refrain from tearing them a new one then you have more willpower and restraint than I would in similar circumstances! But just out of curiosity, why isn't the humane society or ASPCA involved?

I know there is a couple of of members who are from MD me included who would be willing to help. It makes me so sad to think of them outside in this heat!

If the conditions are that bad then you need to call the local authorities to intervene and get the boys away from these people. It sounds like they are running a puppy mill. :mad: Many people believe that puppy mills are huge operations but in truth they can be exactly what you just described. Why do people suck so bad! :mad:
