Thanks everyone. I was hysterical and was screaming at the top of my lungs then using every curse word I knew at my neighbors (normally at least one is out smoking at that time it happened but not a one was out that morning).

Ollie and Martin had took off running towards the neighbors (I assume a cat). At the time I thought they were going to see Cody (the teen boy) bc Ollie loves him. Then I heard blood curling yelps and it was Ollie

I felt horrible bc I couldnt do anything for him. I sat in a squat position the entire time trying to relieve the pressure so he would stop yelping and ease the pain.

You could really tell he didnt feel so good over his birthday weekend. This past Tuesday, he really came alive. He ate all of his food and was ready to play.

I felt bad for canceling his party but he wouldnt have been able to come. The vets said to keep him still so his wound would heal and not rip open anymore.

.. Oh the older man on the street behind me FINALLY heard me. He is the one that got Ollie off. I couldnt because I wasnt strong enough. I dont know and dont want to know how he did it. He sent me away to get scissors to cut Ollies hair so we could see. There was blood everywhere so it was hard to see. When I came back, Ollie was loose.

We will be placing an order for a real softee cone as you never know when you might need one!

OMG that is so scary!!! I can't even imagine being that helpless for an hour. I am so glad Ollie is ok, and that recovery is going well... poor thing. Hope to see pics of his rescheduled party, with an all better Ollie having a blast!

Poor Ollie, what a horrid experience for both of you. I know you must have been frantic. So, glad he is on the road to recovery. What a blessing this had a happy ending too. Hugs from us to the little guy.

Twalla, I have to say again, how scary for you! I would have been a basketcase. Thank goodness the older man was able to free poor Ollie.

So glad to hear Mr. Ollie pants is feeling better. We are going to try to make it to his belated pawty! It's kind of far but maybe we can be in the area for work or something!

I can't even begin to imagine what that must have been like. I'm glad that all is ok and you are going to be having that pawty for Ollie.
