Mindy~we tried so hard to save you
 
I have just learned that Mindy the little 2 yr old Yorkie that we tried to save via rescue has been put to sleep. My heart is broken that there are such cold and heartless people in this world that not allow rescue to help but instead chose death for their dog.

RIP sweet baby girl.

Your life did not end in vein but instead it will make me more determined to stay the course.


There are so many things that I would like to say but I will ask that we honor Mindy's life and death with positive posts. :(

RIP sweet Mindy. Your life will always have meaning because you were an innocent, loving creature -- whose memory will now continue to have a positive effect on other pups.

I was sickened and heartbroken to read of Mindy's passing too, Jodi.

Rest in peace sweet Mindy. I'm sorry humans let you down in this life, where you're going people will never let you down again. You go, run in the fields, play tag all day, lick the hands of everyone there and enjoy the love that is truly unconditional.

I'm so sorry to hear this, reminds me of the Bible story where Solomon was trying to learn the real mother of the child, and suggested cutting it in half and giving each woman half. One woman cried out that she had lied, and he should give the child to the other women. Solomon gave the child to her; she had proven that she was the real mother. People always talk about "loving" their pets, but sometimes that means swallowing your pride, and doing the right thing. There were other options available.

Mindy, you made such an impression in your short little life. I will never forget you and I promise, you HAVE made a difference in many lives. Thank you for making me more aware. RIP precious girl.

I think I will donate $100 to YHR tonight in honor of Mindy. RIP little girl - you did not deserve to die when help was ready to receive you with open arms. Your YT family stood ready to fund your transport to Boston where I personally offered to pick you up to take you into the reputable care of a behaviorist who wanted to help you and would have given you a chance at recovery. Instead, you were cheated. And you were just a baby. RIP.

Now I am in tears reading what you just said about Mindy. It's just so sad that we were all working together to save this baby. Thank you for making another donation to the YHR pups in Mindy's honor.

In tears here too. So, so very sad....God love her. I thought that was all resolved and have been blessing the fact that little Mindy was getting such wonderful help. Some people are soooo heartless.

My heart sank when I saw this post. I don't have the words to express what I want to say in a tasteful manner, so I will just say rest in peace little Mindy. I'm so sorry this life wasn't what it should have been for you. :(

I feel sick just hearing of this news. I had read the thread about Mindy when it was first posted, but never commented because i did not want to get in the way of Mindy getting help from a rescue. Thank you to all the people on here who tried to save her.

I wont even say what i really want to say to the owner cause i'll be banned for life.

Mindy, may you rest in peace. :(

RIP Mindy, as others said people let you down!
I\'m saddened & heartbroken over this, there were other options. :(:mad:
