☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | Picking up Vanessa today and need HELP. Hi YT! I'm picking up Vanessa who is a 4 year old Yorkie. She is one of Farrah's breeders dogs. She is coming to us, her forever home and I am completely "green" on how to introduce them and when to keep them separated and for how long to keep them separated. My other issues are that we are taking both dogs to the beach house this week for 2 weeks then we will be home for 2 weeks and then away for a week where I will be sending them to stay with the breeder. I fear that Vanessa will be upset by all the changes taking place. We will be with her and her crate and toys, etc will be there. The breeder feels that as long as I have "her" items with me that she will be fine. I feel like I won't have enough time to bond with her in our home first. One more question, how long do you think it will take for me to be able to use a coupler for walking them? Thanks for all your help. Yorkie Talkers are the Best!!

☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | So I am now the proud owner of 2 beautiful Yorkie girls. Vanessa is a little more shy. She is 5 yrs. She is similar in size as Farrah and trying to relax a bit. The girls met at the breeders house and they were great. And here they were great with one another. I'm just trying to make Vanessa feel at home. Poor Farrah may be getting a bit jealous. wish us luck!

| oops, I thought she was a rescue. If she is a breeder dog then yes some of the link may help you. If she is not a Breeder dog then I am sorry I must have misunderstood. Congrats on your new baby. |
