| ![]() Hi everyone I hope you dont mind me venting and also asking for help and thoughts. I bought my dog from diva pups in nj 6 years ago I didnt know what i know now, anyway my fife was put down yesterday, he was sold to me as a well bred pet, that was a lie, I wanted a little yorkie a TEACUP again i dont know what i know now, I paid 4200.00 for fife as he was to be a MICROMINI, he was tiny when I got him, all was well took him to the vet as a puppy seemed fine at 9 months he started to limp his patellas bad and his bllod suppply to his hip was being cut off so he needed a hip replacemnt. I called the Broker whom with I had what i thought wasa good health warranty, she basically said I will exchange the dog, WHAT? he is not a shoe that had a defect he was my puppy. I said no ty. Not to mention at 9 months he was 4 pounds way over the micro he was said to be, no warranty on size she said it was a FLUKE, fife could have been 300 pounds I would have loved him the same maybe would have needed a kind bed if he was that big Lol. anyway I had his hips knees replaced all was well then his trachea started anyone who had a yorkie with trachea problems my heart goes out to you its sad and heartbreaking. My fife had issues with his for almost 2 years, way longer than most dogs cope, he was totally comfortable for all his life until the last 3 weeks, When he was diagnosed in july of 08 I expected maybe 3 months withhim but fife had his own plans, and he defied the odds until 3 weeks ago when he started to be uncomfortable. I did what I could to nake him comfortable but could not longer watch him have almost zero quality of life, Well today i was looking thru his paperwork and did some research on the internet and found diva pups was sited by the state of nj here is part of it. HALL OF SHAME Following is a partial list of pet dealers (breeders and brokers) on whom we’ve received numerous complaints or the actions by the pet dealers towards buyers were too egregious to ignore. Contact us for more info about these dealers and others before you buy, or you could end up regretting your puppy purchase! A number of unlicensed NJ puppy brokers advertise on Puppy Find.com and Breeders.net - beware of anyone selling multiple breeds or using several phone numbers - they could be puppy brokers and/or puppy millers, some going as far as posing as "rescues". I know no amount of money will bring fife back, and if I had to do it again I would have spent the 4200 on him anyway even oif I did know the outcome, but I also found burried in his paperwork where he really came from, I called the lady she was actually very nice, sad that I was sad about my loss, and told me she sold my dog to DIVA PUPS for 700 dollars and that he was never to be SMALL, he was about 6 pounds full grown and a wonderful dog, I guess I just feel guilt about his short life that i could not fix him and want some answers. I wonder if its worth calling the nj division that made that report to have my name added to the list of people she defrauded of money and worse the pain that her greed caused me. |

| ![]() I am so very sorry about your loss. Am sure Fife had wonderful 6 years with you. If we all knew earlier what we know now....would we act differently in the first place? As to adding your name...if it helps, why not? |

| ![]() I am so sorry for the loss of Fife. He may have had a short life, but I'm sure you made it the best six years he could have had.
