I was just thinking about this yesterday funny u said somethin. I was reading a post and was saddened by the rude comments people were leaving. I was debating on just leaving yorkietalk cuz I have just seen it to many times on here. But I do see more good nice people on here that only want to help instead of throughing their judgment around and telling people what to do and just being rude for no good reason. To many people on here think they are the all knowing god of yorkies and their way is the only way that makes me so mad. But people do that. We should be able report rude comments and if u get so many u can't come back or somethin idk but think something needs to be done because it is a problem this is a happy place a place to share stories help eachother not to bash eachother over dumb stuff people should not be scared to ask a question in fear of people tearing them apart. I seen it to much on here. I have debated on leaving quite a few times but always come back because there are nice people here we need to weed out the bad.I know a few friends of mine that left because of this reason. |
Aww thanks you for compliments guys! I had a very difficult day today (best friend mummy died) so seeing that I made smiles really helped! Thanks you! xx <3 |
I really have enjoyed reading this tread. I believe that is the reason most of us joined YT, compassion. We lost a life long companion and want comfort with compassion from others who have lost their baby. We have a sick baby and need understanding and compassion. We want to breed and are looking for direction with compassion. We are a breeder and want reassurance with compassion. We have a new baby and want to share joy with compassion. We love our current babies and want common ground with compassion. And lastly we want new friends who understand what it is like to need compassion. Thank you to those who received me as a new member with compassion, and continue to show me how happy I am that I joined. Okay now you can all call me a Pollyanna! |

What a lovely post. It made me want to cry :cry8: |
You are right Pollyanna! :p I think you left off the reason I joined. I wanted to GET a yorkie and I came on here to find out more about them. Boy what a training school this is! And as for Ann..... Marcia Marcia Marcia:rofl28ib: Love ya Ann! |
I agree 100%. Maybe if we can all just back out of posts that seem like their going the wrong way, we could avoid adding to the heat. |
I have no idea what happened to cause the bans and no longer members things to happen... however I have to say. Ive been here a long time, not a newbie by any means. I have my fair share of posts and NEVER have I been on the brink of suspension, banned or even had a thread locked on me. Its not hard to ignore the stuff that puts your teeth on edge or to comment in ways that WILL make people HEAR you. I really do believe you get more bees with honey than vinegar, it truly works. Ive been told many times by many members, new and old that I am very eloquent with my words and have a way of getting my concerns read and taken into consideration. This is hard sometimes but worth it when you know someone HEARD you, and it works for ALL aspects of your life. Work, family, friends, the grocery store cashier... LOL I just try to remember, angry usually goes in one ear and out the other, understanding, compassion and the true desire to educate is HEARD more. None of us can change the world overnight so we start with one person at a time and let the words spread. I want to stop bybs and puppymills as much as the next person, but there is no reason to hammer into someone when a simple explanation will do. Try to remember newbies come here as green as most of us were when we were new. :) |
Thank you for posting. I am a fairly new member and asked only a few questions and feel that I've been slammed at least a couple of times - yes, I received private messages with apologies but would like to be free to ask a question without always having to think twice about how someone may react to an innocent question. |
