who's Mary & Jim. I don't know too many here by real names. |
1 Attachment(s) She has some teeth, sorry guess I worded that badly. She has her K9s and her teeth and just barley out of her gums. She came with some American Pet Reg. stuff but that says that she was born on April 11th. She is not wobbly anymore she is in face running and chasing my hans along the key board. And playing with her blanket. |

Her back molars have not broken threw yet. |
We need more pics so we can see what she looks like ( Please);) |
thank goodness she has teeth, i was thinking gummy smiles for a while! Also full body pics can help. Seeing how long the fur is, we can guesstimate the age. |

Have any of you "taped ears"?? I guess to help them stand up:aimeeyork |
Welcome to YT. "No Name" is adorable, I glad to hear she's doing well.:) |
I'm going to be blunt here. Taping her ears should be the least of your worries right now. I say this because I am going through something similar with a rescue pup who is most likely younger than her "paperwork" says. You've already had one hypoglycemic episode. You are going to need to be on guard against another. If she's truly 10 weeks, a goats milk formula is ok in a pinch, but it certainly isn't enough to keep her healthy. Having only a few teeth could make it difficult finding a food she can easily eat, be prepared. Get her to the vet ASAP for a checkup. A "breeder" who won't answer your calls now could very easily be hidin something else from you. You need to know what you may be in for. Don't wait until this weekend or even tomorrow. Go today. Once you know she's healthy and is eating, peeing and pooping as she should THEN you can worry about taping her ears. |

And yes, I'm grumpy because I'm going on day 4 of round the clock feeding/peeing/pooping/napping on the floor beside the crate vigil. Sorry. |
I don't know this little one doesn't look much younger than mine did at 9 weeks old... maybe she is 8 weeks old... but I don't think she is as young as your thinking. You still have to be very careful to make sure she eats well and you keep an eye on her as often as possible though. I would also get her to the vet as soon as possible, and bring a stool sample if you can get one. Since you dont know much about the breeder, you want to make sure she didnt come with any type of parasites and if she did you can handle it quickly. The vet will also be able to give you a better indication of her age and overall health. As for the ears, to get them to stand up you need to keep them shaved, the extra weight of the hair can pull them down. Also it helps if you massage them often when she is laying next to you. Likely they will go up and down a few times while she is teething. Many people never have to tape them, but some people do end up doing it. You can find websites online that show you how, but I don't think its something you need to do right now. Good Luck with her. |
