Dharma comes HOME!!!!!
 

It's almost here! Dharma comes home on Saturday!!! We have been talking to Melissa (WV~Yorkies) since the middle of May so it's been a month of waiting! We are going down to Virginia on Saturday to meet up with Melissa and Dharma. My fiance and I can barely wait! The house is dog proofed and ready for her! We have her house (crate) all set up and really cute dog bowls washed and ready for food and water. We have LOTS of bows and a brush and comb thanks to mimimomo. We have 3 leashes and 2 harnesses already with another harness that will be a sure favorite in the works now by Chattiesmom. We even have flashers that we found in Old Navy for our night time walks so people can see us! We have her ID tag on her collar ready for her. We have a REALLY fluffy soft comfy bed for her. We have Bully Sticks thanks to BaxtersMommy and a few toys from here and there....none with eyes or things that will be easy to break off. We have a cute bone pillow and matching toy on the way from sharahheartmaddy (which we will be careful with to make sure she doesn't tear out the stuffing) We even have shampoo for her and a DOG towel!! We even found a few cute outfits at a great bargin from Old Navy, Walmart, and Shanatink. We found a bell that is shaped like a shell with a HUGE button to push to ring the bell so she can ring it to go outside. We have already been practicing by ringing it each time we go outside.

I think we're ready for Dharma to come home...What do you think?? :grin2:

OooOh! I almost forgot! We aren't puppy pad training her, but we did get washable ones from RDB911 to put in her home...just in case.

That is great, what a wonderful job you have done on getting ready. The waiting is always the hard part.

Thank you everyone!!!! Around this time tomorrow, hopefully we will FINALLY be with her and be meeting up with Melissa! Thank you for all of your kind words!! We are beyond excited!! We want to be the best parents we can be to our little furbaby! One last big clean of the house tonight before she comes home tomorrow! :D

Congratulations, I remember how excited I was when I brought each of mine home. We almost bought everything in Petsmart 3 times. Is your baby named after Dharma in Dharma and Greg Tv show

Aw....Angela!! I am so happy for you! I am so glad that Melissa's baby went to a YT'er so we can have fun watching her grow. YAY! I can't wait to see pictures of you and your new baby! Give her a kiss and tell her I hope she enjoys her bullies! :p

Yes we are really excited as you can see!! Her name is from the TV show Lost. My fiance is a huge fan of the show and we both liked the name.

We'll take a few pictures of her with her Bully sticks when we give one of them to her!! :)

After our 13 hour Trip to and back to Virginia Dharma is home and doing fantastic! She already ate from her bowl and drank from her bowl!

The first picture is her sleeping in my lap. The next picture is is a picture of me and my fiance with Melissa...The third picture I love the little tongue! And the last is Dharma with her toy form Jenny!

Don't mind me....It was a long drive! :) I'll add a good picture of me with the family soon :p

Congratulations, she is beautiful. I know she will have a great home. I remember each time I brought my babies home, it is so exciting. After a year I still can't wait to get home and be with them.:thumbup:
