| My little 9 month old Cody eats a 1/2 cup twice a day (he is 8lbs though). Usually the feeding information is on the back of the food bag (assuming you feed kibble) But the usual is up to 3/4 cup a day for smaller dogs I believe. |

| My Jackson is 16lbs and eats 1/2 cup a day, also some wet food and treats. It may seem like he'd be starving but I've found this works perfect for him. When he was free fed, he self regulated to this so I know he's not starving. It all depends on the food though, what I feed (Acana) is pretty calorie dense so he gets more for less food. Also their activity level, their health and weight, etc. I feed 1/4 cup in the AM and 1/4 cup in the PM, both times are either mixed with wet food or human food like chicken.
