One Of The Best Breeder..
 
Some People On Here Know That I Have Been Trying To Find a Biewer Breeder.. I Live In Alabama, For The Past 3 Month's I Have Been Talking With Mr, Lewis With www.Biewersofbrookwood.com Mr Lewis has taken the time to help me learn and understand more about this breed..Mr lewis Babies are BTRA REG. This Guy Is Everything That BTRA Stand For And That Is Only Biewer - biewer Breeding. and breeding for Better Quality, Better Health. Although I Have Not Bought one Yet. Keep All Fingers Cross. I hope Mine Will Be Home With Us This Fall. But If You Are Thinking About Buying Your First Biewer or Your Just Buying another Please Give My Lewis A Try. He Has Taken Hours To Talk With Me About This Breed. Again www.Biewersofbrookwood.com

I've looked at the website of this 'great breeder' and I am afraid that I don't agree with the OP's glowing praise of the breeder. It's great that the breeder took the time to talk and explain everything.

What worries me is that the Biewers aren't standard - they look like yorkie/biewer crosses to me. Plus the only accredited Biewer club in America is the BBCA. I'd get a pup from one of the club's accredited breeders.

You will have to live with the puppy for years and people can be incredibly nice when they want to sell something. These clubs are there to regulate their breeders and if a breeder isn't accredited by the right club, there is a reason for it.

I dont think the poster was trying to start a debate:) I think she is just looking out for you and other potential buyers and I see no harm in educating someone.

His dogs are gorgeous in my opinion. The puppies on there are about the cutest things I have ever seen! Good luck and I hope you will be bringing your new baby home very soon. : )

I had never even heard of a biewer until joining this site. Now, I think they are beautiful and would like to own one some day.

But I am ignorant. What is BRTA?

Since the BTRA dogs are not even Yorkies I don't know why you are posting this information on a Yorkie forum.

With all the biewer talk on here, not sure why someone excited about getting a biewer is not welcome to post it.

Thank You Dustmop. Thank God For This Website. Beacuse i did not learn about the Biewer Until after i bought my yorkie. so people like me who are thinking about buying one or want to know more about them then they can find them.then also i look around and i see people with parti and f1 and they are trying to sale them why cant i post about the BTRA. NOt true...the BTCA (who has their own registry BTRA) organization does not believe they are Yorkies...They are Biewer Terriers...it is stated over and over on their website that these dogs from their breeders are not Yorkies.


FYI - I have 3 Biewer Yorkshire A La Pom Pon and have been invovled with this breed since 2004.

Do your homework. The BTCA states these are not Yorkies and are Biewer Terriers. They state it not me.

The Parti's are Yorkies.

I did not say they were yorkies. I SAID there is a lot of biewer talk on here. If you disagree with that, I am so sorry. I just didn't think it was necessary to say that an excited person posting about getting a biewer shouldn't be aloud to do that when I just got finished posting on 2 other biewer threads. :confused:

I don't know what threads you posted on but I am guessing those were Biewer Yorkies and not Biewer Terriers...there is a difference.

Also if you look at my avatar you can see I have a Biewer Yorkie.

Seriously??? Wow???? I am not going to argue with you over something so stupid. There are mixes, there are yorkie brothers and sisters discussed on here. The girl has a yorkie. I discussed a dang husky on here the other day and got lots of help!!!

I agree, I didn't see where you said they were yorkies however, I do believe there is a lot of biewer talk on yt, so for a member to get excited about owning or getting one, it should be accepted. By the way the op states she has a yorkies as well. To the op, congrats on your new addition, as I don't know too much about the biewer breed, I will not comment on the breeder! Can't wait to see pics!:)

To the OP congrats on finding a breeder you are comfortable with. Now this doesn't apply to this op because they also have yorkies but I don't understand why the brewer terrier is ever discussed on here either since they claim they arrant yorkies. I can understand why the brewer yorkishire terrier is though since they claim they did come from yorkies. I think that is all Cindy (livingdustmops} is trying to say. There are a lot of politics around the biewers.

The reason I am saying this is because she posted under General Yorkshire Terrier......since she is getting a Biewer Terrier then she should have posted this under brothers/sisters as these are not Yorkies per their club. It would be the same as if people started posting their German Shepard, Beagles and any other breed in this section.

She also said this is one of the best breeders when there is another section on this forum to post this information also.

I can understand that, but considering it is a yorkie owner happy about getting a dog, I think the first response was very unnecessary. Most of us are happy for each other when we add a new furbaby, yorkie or not.

Well considering the poster is new, I think that would have been good info to have given instead of the initial post that came off like the ONLY thing that we can talk about is yorkies on here. I still have OOPS! moments when I post threads in the wrong section and I am sure others do to.

Still shaking my head...there is a section where she could have posted this information .... While I admit I have been heavily involved with these dogs, I am only stating what their club says...they are not Yorkies so the post should be in the right section. This has nothing to do with being "happy" for each other...Geez.

Ok that's fine. I guess I just misunderstood when the first 2 posts talked about talking about biewers here when they are not yorkies. My bad. Maybe the poster is smarter than me and knew you meant only in this section, and not "here" as in YT. Just took in wrong.

FYI this is a pretty new member and speaking from experience when I first posted I was putting them in the wrong sections. This person probably didnt know she should put it in the breeder review section. It really doesnt matter anyway because if admin wants it moved they will move it.

I had no clue there were biewer yorkies, thats news to me.

Ever consider maybe she saw "Biewer" and automatically thought of the Biewer Yorkies we have here and didn't even know there was a difference and just posted in excitement.

So I post the truth and I am beating a dead horse.

Also this person is looking to get a dog for breeding..then she should fully understand these are not Yorkies...No one should be going into breeding until they have fully done their research. There is plenty of information on the internet about the Biewer Terriers and the Biewer Yorkies.

Also, she is saying a breeder is the best when she has only talked to her on the phone and looked at her website...has she gone to his/her house? Has she seen the dogs yet?

Not that what you are saying ISNT true, but you are saying it over and over again. Time to give it a rest or just PM her.

And that is great! I'm all for it inform all you want, but why start a debate over something so simple?

And I never said anything about that. I do my research, I know a thing or two about a breeder that breeds quality dog and have emailed, called, texted, visited many breeders of different breeds and I never said I agreed with her choice (although it is possible to like a breeder without talking with them). I have my own opinions of that breeder (and many breeders here on this site) and that is where I leave it.

...........that being the OP's opinion of a Biewer breeder.............

I am the proud & happy owner of two Biewer Terriers.........both of them purchased from Biewers of Brookwood. They are beautiful, healthy, and both of them come from different champion bloodlines. The breeder was helpful & informative, and obviously cares about his dogs and puppies.

For the OP to refer to Mr Lewis as one of the best breeders is her right to her opinion; whether I think the same or not, would be mine. It was the fact that he has some beautiful Biewer Terriers (IMO) that are within the standard & with champion lines that warranted me to do business with him more than once. Is he one of the best breeders? From my dealings with him, it is my opinion that he is a breeder that cares about his dogs and is very knowledgeable & cares about the breed; two things high on my list of things that matter when searching for a puppy of any breed.

I know what Btra is and what they stand for..And i like it.. but that's Life. because i drive a nissan and you drive a Kia we both have a car just two different names. just because i like a nissan i can not make you drive one.. it's the same way with btra and ibc. it's what i like and what you like. thats life and people just need to Grow up.. but the real reason why im on this website is because i do have a Yorkie and i came across the Biewer on this website. and i do thank those people with Biewer for posting info about them.
