I think he is ok also, my little boys yelps all the time but he has never been hurt, the cat even bites on him. If he needs a break he gets in my husbands recliner, but if he wants to play and we try to hold him he starts yelping and growling so we let him play with the big dogs and he loves it. They get very rough but he has never been hurt. Good Luck |
I think it's his way of telling them they are too rough, as others have said. Seems like the girls aren't listening. Have you thought about throwing more than one toy? When I'm playing fetch with my three, I put a bunch of toys near me, pick up three and squeak at the dog I want to fetch it, then throw them one right after the other. If you squeak, throw, squeak, throw, squeak, throw, you get their attention right away, in my experience anyway. Hope it works out for you so you can keep your little Peanut. |
