I feel you did the right thing. It was very good of you, to give her such good care while she was with you. I know a friend that was in a car accident recently. Had her little dog with her. The dog got loose and thru all the accident commotion, ran away. The next day while my friend was out searching for her again, she visited two vets offices. On her way out, a woman was on her way in.... with my friends dog. Come to find out, this woman had no intention of finding the owner. Had taken off the dogs collar and tags. Told my friend she did not have these on her. Very odd! I am so glad, my friend was at the right place at the right time, otherwise she may never have had her dog returned to her. So, you did the right and honest thing to continue doing everything to find her owner. And you took great care of her, until the owner came forward. You will have the perfect little dog, soon. There are ALOT of good breeders in the Cincinnati area. And I know there are several great rescues also. I think this is a reminder to all of us, it is best to have our "babies" micro chipped. My little yorkie was micro chipped when I bought her. I plan to have our Pomeranian puppy micro chipped when we take him in to have him neutered soon. This will be helpful, in the event my little ones ever get lost. Praying it never happens. But we never know when or if it could happen. |

I dont feel like she was being rude by offering to buy the dog, it just shows that she feel in love with Molly; And they should be flattered that someone took such great care of her while she was "lost". |
I decided it's not worth replying to. |

It's frustrating to see when a dog is being kept even though someone is looking for them. Unfortunately for me, I know people who have and I just want to rip my hair out just thinking about it. |

LOL! You ever heard the saying great minds think alike? lol :D |
Nasdag Diva, you should never feel bad for the doing the right thing. You loved and cared for Molly/Lil Mommy and she is now with her previous owners. I am saddened to hear that she was not as excited to see them as we all think she should have been but we do not know the situation. It certainly sounds as though you have a lot of compassion and love to give to a pet and if you decide that you are ready for another, best of luck in your search. When you decide on one, he/she will be very lucky to have you for a mommy. Hugs. |
From what you wrote, I feel like Molly would have been better with you |
If that is the right owners, I think you did the right thing, God will pay you back you will see;) He sees your heart and intention/motivations; when you get your little yorkie please, please come and post pictures, we will be soooo delight :p, big hugs to you hon:animal-pa |
