The email to the principal came back as undeliverable (over capacity). But I did get this back from the woman who placed the ad: https://mail.google.com/mail/images/cleardot.gifLarissa Thomas to me show details 4:53 PM (13 minutes ago) the ad is gone not doing it I hope she means it. |

I got an email too: MAM THIS IS NOT CRIMIANL I DONATED THE PUPPY AND I AM JUST A MOTHER LOOKING OUT FOR MY CHILD I THOUGHT IT WOULD HELP THE PUPPY IS IN GOOD HANDS ITS MINE AND IT WILL GO TO A GOOD HOME BESIDE WHEN YOU PURCHASE FROM PUPPY MILLS THAT SHOULD BE CRIMINAL THIS IS A FUN RAISER I AM SORRY IF YOU THOUGHT I WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG...I DID THIS ON MY OWN TO HELP BUT THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERN THE AD IS GONE At least they have pulled the Ad, hopefully they are not going through with this. |

Glad to hear people still do bake sales and other things. Around here, the parents go around to all the shops and just flat out asking for donations! this is a upper middle class community too! Once we got a cold call at our shop asking for monetary donations and we said we don't do that. Instead of saying ok thank you, the woman goes on to harrass me! Well it felt like she was harassing me. "Why not?" she asks. I said we can't afford to. She says "You don't support your local schools?" I say no we can't afford to. Again, "Why not?" I just ended up hanging up on her. A no is a no, i don't feel like I have to tell her my whole story and my reasons why to get her to end the call. :rolleyes: |

The college here in my town did the same thing with a Pomeranian. I just thinkg that is so wrong! They were advertising on the radio stations around and so many people just thought it was terrible. I just don't understand why people would think it was ok to raffle away a life and what breeder donates a puppy to be raffled... just craziness imo |
Maybe she is a "backyard breeder" and doesn't care what anyone says. $2.00 a ticket!! It seems she doesn't respect living creatures, let alone know the value of a Yorkie. I wonder what the SPCA would have to say about raffling off a puppy?? Whoever said it should be illegal is right on...it should be. We should all buy 150 tickets then one of us is bound to win......(don't say it...I know, bad idea, it would just encourage her more) |
