Ok I see the green eyed cutie. She def doesn't have the red so I guess she's got a shot at being silky. If I wasn't a good mommy ID go take a pic now but she's sound asleep :rolleyes:

I meant further up. Blue means puppy. You'll have to wait for her to grow before determining if she's a green or a red. :p

that was when my dd was a pup - she was about 1 year in that other pic -here is a pic of her now at 5

ahhh poor little thing now I'm gonna torture her with the camera :D. As if she weren't already adopted into that already :rolleyes:

she's perfect all of yours are!! Guess I figured the giant ball of fluff depicted cotton.... There's no thin hair at all on this one

thanks here is her as a pup as yours looks like a youngster

Here are a couple of morgans puppy pictures so you can see how her coat was at a really young age. she always had a lot of coat. her puppy fuzz was just as thick as it is today just darker and poofier. Her hair stayed pretty ridiculous for a few years. It grows outward inside of down so she just looks big, round, and fat! Thankfully her hair is straight so no curly butt here :D and the hair on her head is silkier then the hair on her body.

1st - 14 weeks
2nd - 16 weeks
3rd - 20 weeks
4th - 24 weeks

as you can see in the pictures her eyes shine green as a puppy so i don't think eye shine is accurate when their babies.

Thanks everyone I guess time will tell w this one I really just want to b able to keep a topknot w bows. I know the maintenance w not constantly trimming up the face would b easier. If I have to keep her body short I'm ok w that. I live in one of the hottest , muggiest states there is :o

This cut is perfect for those cotton babies. Attachment 318055 Pablo has not been goomed in this pic. I will post more later, they are all sporting this new look. Both Boys are cotton coats. Groomed by our favorite YTer, Mardelin ;)

10 weeks is WAY too early to tell what kind of coat she will have. All puppies have that fluffy coat and some take longer than others to really come in. Just relax and enjoy. There are lots of advantages to both coat types too. Watch the roots of the hair and at some point you may see more of a sheen to it also when she gets a little older look at the eye flash color in pictures. Usually a silky coat will flash green, a cottony coat will flash orange.

I had a sweet little maltese; my first, very own, dog. He was such a sweetie. He lived to be about 13.

I could not keep up with the coat and usually kept him in a puppy cut.

I noticed her roots changing a couple weeks ago. They're almost reddish orange on her skull so I assumed her face would be mostly golden. I notice it mostly around her ears. Here's a pic of her this morning still w/the blue eyed glow.

Oh and she sooo is a curly butt!! I love her :)
