Glad Olive is home where she belongs and her surgery went well. Now on to a speedy recovery. :)

yay! Olive is home, now mommy can let out a big sigh. Hope she's all well soon. Maggie was out of it for a couple of days and then back to her terror self. lol Give a big kiss and gentle hug.

She was back to herself almost the moment she got home, lol. They even said she was barking up a storm at the vet, that's why they called me before they even opened to come pick her up :rolleyes: She's just sleeping a little more than normal, but otherwise she's being Olive for the most part. :)

So glad Olive is doing well! I dread Mya's spay, should be making the appointment soon... Not sure who it's harder on - them, or us!

She's been sleeping most of the day and hasn't eaten since this morning, but the vet said she ate A LOT this morning so I shouldn't expect her to eat much. I'll try to feed her again later. Worse comes to worse, I have some Nurtrical and some apples!

She is sleeping peacefully at home. Takes lots of rest to recuperate from surgery. I'm sure it's nice to have her at home again.:)

I cried for 2 days and I made it through. You can make it, too :)

Hi Honey,
Sorry I missed little Olive's surgery and to send her and you big hugs and prayers. I am so happy she is doing well, I remember when Lexi had surgery and how hard it was on us I wished more then anything I could of gone through it for her. But she too did great and bounced back so quickly.
Give Olive big hugs from Lexi and I...I truly am sorry I didn't log onto YT to check on you :( How is she doing now? It always amazes me how strong they are...nothing keeps them down...hugs

It's okay, Cheryl, we know you still care :) You've been busy! Olive is doing fine. Lots of rest and TLC. She has been a little whiny - she sounds like a meowing kitten, it's the funniest thing. Other than that, she wants to be close by me, touching me and kissing me, which isn't all that unusual for her. She has been so good. Now I understand why the vet didn't give her pain killers - because she wouldn't know when to stop and she'd probably pop her stitches. The incision site likes really good - only 2 tiny stitches. I think there will be very minimal scarring, if any. She's been such a trooper, I'm very proud of her. I've been giving her extra special treats like a bite of cottage cheese and apples and she's thrilled! She also loves these new treats her SB sent her - they're sweet potato flavored and the girls can't get enough of them! They even smell good, like a sweet cereal. I don't think she's any the worse for wear. She doesn't even appear upset or mad at me.
