I've never had one yet, though, that didn't itch after a groomer bathed them, so you may want to re-bathe him. |

my guess is that he is itchy because of the short shave on the nose and butt. he's just not used to it. are the area's red? if he's itching all over then it could be the cologne or the shampoo and you can rinse him off |
I washed him again, just used warm water. His nose and butt are really red- definitely razor burned. I put a little bit of hydrocortisone on his nose, but not his backside because he is licking it lick crazy. I feel so bad for my little guy right now. |
I feel so bad you had a bad experience with your groomer. He still looks adorable, but I hope he gets over the itchies soon. Poor baby. And razor burn...that's got to be so miserable. |
Oh Rhett is a darling baby, with his hair and without. I don't blame you for being upset, but, like others said, it will grow. You can't imagine how bad Lizzie looked when I first started grooming her. At least most people don't really know how most YTs are groomed. |

Thanks everyone! Rhett is doing better today- not licking or scratching as much. I have been doing the cold compresses to his back side and that seems to help. His cut is growing on me, except for the naked, pink stripe down his backside. Of course he could be bald and I would still think he's the cutest dog in the world.:animal36 |
