Hallie got hurt ;(
 
Oh what an evening! Hallie and Simon were playing and I heard Hallie scream, but she is very dramatic and likes to make squeeling noises. Well she was running around and I started to see little red drops then she ran past the wall and smeared blood all the way across it!

I PANIC!!!! Scooped her up and took her to the bathroom. By the time we got there the whole top of her head was bright red from blood! I'm crying, calling my neighbor upstairs (she's a nurse) and trying to figure out where Hallie is bleeding from. The whole time she is kissing me and not acting like she is in any pain. I clean her up and she has cut on her ear ;( The bleeding stopped in no time and she isn't in pain but I AM!!! Angel (neighbor) was applying pressure and checking everything out for me.

Of course Simon didn't mean to and he felt horrible so he is getting lots of love now, he has been kissing Hallie for 15 minutes ;)

That was so scary!

Poor Hallie, and you!!! Blood is scary, but lucky she is doing well now. I am glad that it wasn't anything too serious! Simon knows that kisses will help her feel better!

I can just imagine your panic !! Poor little Simon is feeling guilty - that's what mine do but seeing blood must have freaked you out ! I'm glad it's just a nick and I bet she'll be just fine...now... mom on the other hand may need to lay down after seeing that :) Poor baby - Hope she's ok - they can play so rough for being so small....

Chanel and Cheri send her lots of kisses and hope it's not too bad a cut...

Awwwwe, those ears sure can bleed!!!! Thank God that is all it was :) . Don't they seem to shrink to practically nothing when they are sick or hurt? They instantly get more tiny than you've ever seen them! Cowboy sends her little puppy kisses....

Poor little Hallie girl! I hope you are ok! I hope your mommie is ok! Poor Simon--he probably does feel terrible! I bet its sooo sweet to see them lovin each other now though!!!!

I'm so glad it wasn't serious. I hate hearing that hurting yip noise outta anybody.
My favorite doc once said to me "If your kids don't show up bloody at least once a year, they aren't having enough fun." This, while putting yet another cast on my daughter's ankle.
It's the post adrenalin fatigue that wipes me out....put your feet up, you officially get the rest of the night off.

That's so scary to see Yorkie blood! Glad it was only an ear cut. Good for Mr. Simon to make it up to her! ;)

I can just imagine how scary it was to see her head all bloody like that. So glad it turned out to be something not so horrible. You feel so exhausted after things like that happen. :)

Those ear injuries bring so much blood just like a scalp injury on a human. Thank goodness that's all that was wrong with Hallie. Glad to know that she's okay.

Poor little girl. I hope both you and her are ok. Boy do I know how you feel. Having almost losing Gus,,, I was a wreck. The first 24 hours were a blur. These little one can worry us sick at times that's for sure! Sending you huggs from me and Gus and puppy kisses to Hallie from Gus!

Oh my how scary that must of been for you! I'd of been shook up for sure if I saw blood~ :eek:

Reminds me of a quote from Reece Witherspoon that I recently read...

I am so glad to know that I am not the only one that flips out and goes into panick mode when I hear a squeal from my little guy. My husband says I tend to exxagerate and maybe I do, but they are small and fragile!

Thank you everyone! Hallie is just fine, in fact she never acted like it hurt at all ;) She has 2 bite marks in her ear, Simon got her good! He spent all night licking her ear and giving her kisses to make her feel better. I have now renamed him Mike Tyson!

Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm finally recovered! I swear that was more stressful for me than for them ;)
