im fairly certian this is not a purebred yorkie just by looking at the face what do ya'll think? Yorkie/doxie is my guess

Looks like a yorkie to me. They all have such different looks to them. Longer faces, shorter faces, longer legs, shorter llegs, ears up, ears down. Is he registered, did you see the parents?

Well I would say a Yorkie pup..looks like one I first had years ago..with the ears down...How old is the pup? You should have seen papers etc.
What makes you think its not all Yorkie?

I'd guess the same. The shape of the head isn't yorkie, ear set is totally different (and I don't mean simply down), and the muzzle is longer.

what makes me think its not a yorkie is its elongated face i emailed the person about him just waiting to hear what he has to say there add says....were selling him for almost free! with some misspelled words and inproper grammer

He doesnt look 100% yorkie to me. Yorkie doxie might be what he is. Hes a cutie though

If this is an ad where the people want you to send them money first and it's not someplace that you can go and see the puppy, I'd be very careful. The ads I've seen where the puppy's are "almost free" and require money be sent are mostly scams. The improper grammar is usually a big red flag for me.

I do not think he is a full blooded yorkie , his face is more square and longer . perhaps a yorkie doxie ,but he is very young , it is hard to tell what mix he has . Be careful about who you are dealing with online. Their are so many scams out there.

Well to me I would say it could easily be a Yorkies. Yorkie noses vary more than some people think.
If they want you to send them ANY money for shipping, shots, etc. Don't do it. It is a scam.

Im not purchasing the puppy just sharing a picture of a dog claimed to be purebreed and wanted opinions on what others thought

I think it's a Yorkie - my friend has a Yorkie and hers has a long muzzle, and big nose compared to my 2, but she got him from a breeder and has papers....Even among the adults on here there are many different 'looks'. Very cute puppy - they all are so loving and cuddly - each with their own distinct traits!!!:D

anyone can claim pure breed - and to me he looks yorkie but that doesn't mean he isnt mixed somewhere down the line - don[t believe everything you read - follow your heart even if this isn't a dog you may be getting - it's always good to ask -
I agree with the possible mixes mentioned but to me he does look like a little yorkie puppy - they now all look so different sometimes it's hard to tell

He looks like a Yorkie/Doxie aka Dorkie to me!! My Bailey looked just like him when he was a puppy. His brother looked a lil more like the Doxie but I chose Bailey since he had more Yorkie characteristics. Bailey is about 8 1/2 months now and 15lbs with HUGE ears and such a great dog :animal36
