Nikki's 2nd visit to the Nursing Home 4 Attachment(s) Nikki and I went to see Carol (his Mom) at the nursing home again today. We went about 4 weeks ago and she is doing a lot better. Sadly she will never be able to live on her own and take Nikki back. But we will go visit every 2 weeks.I would go more often but it's about a 90 minute drive each way. Nikki was so much more relaxed and ran around her room investigating and spent a lot of time in his Mom's arms. We had to go show all her therapists, aides and friends Nikki. He is such a good boy. He was really zonked out on the way home. Thanks for looking. |

This story touched my heart when you took Nikki and posted those first pictures. You are such an awesome person to take the time to let Nikki visit with his mom. Great pics again this visit. |

Patti, your one in a million. Carol is certainly blessed to have Nicki in your home. To be able to visit with him from time to time and know that he's loved and well cared for must make her smile daily. Your a very special lady, Patti. I just love visiting Carol too on your visiting day's. Brings a smile to me as well. |

It does take the little one's time to get used to a nursing home environment. I'm sure you already know how much it means to them both to get to see each other. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. You're too wonderful for words.:) |

Thanks. I know how much it would mean to me if I was in Carol's situation. I think we would all do the same. I wish she was closer so we could go more often. I have been a little lost with out my Dad to care for. So it makes me feel better visiting Carol as I met her at the Senior apartments my Dad lived in. |
