That is so moving. Thank you for what you are doing for both Carol and Nikki. :) |
Such a sweet story... You can see how much they love each other.. It's absolutely wonderful that they can still see each other... you are awesome for making that happen! |
Wow, you can totally tell how happy you made your mom by bringing Nikki to see her. It's truly heartwarming. You're a great person for doing this. I bet all the aides are really supportive of you bringing Nikki too:) |
It is great that you can take him to see carol there are some places that you cannot take dogs in Gatsby visits nursing homes when we have free time and thear was a woman who loved him to death then her kids transferred her to another home and its even closer to my house but they wont let me bring him in to see the residents |
Thank you ... |
This is soo heartwarming and beautiful! The pictures of Carol and Nikki together make me cry, tears of joy. The love just shines in the photos of him on her lap, and the way they cuddle together. How special you are, Patti, to be there for Carol and give her the peace of mind to know that her little boy is being loved and taken care of. You are a very special lady!!! Big hugs |
Oh wow, this was a tear jerker...They say to be careful what you say to someone, because you might be entertaining angels...I think you are one of those angels...What a wonderful thing you are doing for Carol and Nikki... |
What a wonderful sweet person you are and this story made my day. I cannot imagine having to be separated like that from my babies. My daughter is a cardiac nurse in COU. She has several times slipped little dogs into the hospital to see their owners hidden inside her scrub jacket. It seems to make the patients feel so much better. I admire you. |
Not that this hasn't already been said, but you a really special, giving person to take him in and make the effort to visit Carol. We see lots of bad in the world, but you remind there is lots of good. People doing things truly out of the goodness of their heart.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: |
Seeing Nikki cuddled in his mum's arms is so beautiful. The world needs more people like you. What it must mean to Carole to know she can still see her baby. Thank you for being so selfless and loving them both when they needed it most. xo |
Patti...I was once again, so touched and teared up hearing about Nikki's visit with Carol and seeing those pictures. Yes indeed...I've said it before and I'll say it again...you are Carol's angel here on earth. I shudder to think of where Nikki would be now, if you hadn't befriended Carol and helped her out in so many ways. If not for you, Nikki would have most likely ended up in a shelter, scared and alone. Carol has come so far since her stroke, but I don't think she would have, had she not known that Nikki was with you. I do think God brought you together. You are an amazing lady with a heart of gold and I'm so happy to have you as my friend! |
You ARE an angel :angel2: ! A very heartwarming beautiful story. |
You are one in a million. What a wonderful thing to do. Ninety minutes is a long time. There's so much you could do for yourself in that amount of time. I don't know the back story here, of how you came to own Carol's dog, but she is so fortunate that not only did her dog get a great home but that you're willing to keep her involved. God Bless You! |
