|  New to the Yorkie Forum Hello everyone, my name is Heather and I am new to this forum. We got our Yorkie yesterday on Mothers Day. What a special present she was. We decided to name her Daisy. I am a SAHM and soon will be starting online classes. I get to be the lucky one that will potty train her and hope that you guys may have some tricks at handling this for me. It has been forever since have had to potty train a puppy... so it would be nice to get some feed back. THANKS! |

| Hello and welcome to YT. Just try to remember that most small breeds take a bit longer to catch on when potty training. What a great Mother's Day gift, lucky girl. I like her name too.

|  Thank you so much. My husband named her on the hour and a half ride home from getting her. She had two accidents today but went both duties outside for me today and I was very proud of her. I hope since I will be at home with her... I can get her potty trained faster. Quote:
