| The best Over the counter medicine for breaking down a cough is mucinex. It loosens everything and makes it productive shortening the length of your illness. Another good expectorant is Robitussin DM. You don't want to just suppress it if there's something to get up. The latter stages of bronchitis usually entail breaking up of mucus in the chest. Another thing to maybe try is a warm cup of lemon tea. It's just very soothing. Usually when I'm sick (other than antibiotics) I use a eucalyptus scrub and warm tea. Oh and someone once told me you can smear vicks vapor rub on your feet and put on socks and it stops the coughing asap. That's one I've yet to try. So sweet your baby is worried about you Hope you feel better

| Oh, We call my Trixie the nurse. If my son falls in the backyard she is right there to lick his face and sit by him.

| Olive comes running to me with a worried look on her face whenever I cough or sneeze. My allergies have been really bad this year so I've been doing that a lot. It's the sweetest thing. Sometimes she'll even jump into my arms and give me kisses to make me feel better |

| They will also do this if you have a little cut or something. When John got out of the hospital, they were all over the areas where he had the IVs and such. They do love us, don't they?

| It's so sweet that Penny takes such good care of you. Boo Boo takes his responsibility as a nurse so seriously. I get really bad migraines from time to time and when I do I go lay on my bed with the lights out and an eye pillow over my eyes...he manages to push the door open, then jumps on the bed, curls up on my pillow and licks my forehead. It's so sweet, because he knows he has to be gentile and quiet. It's the best medicine ever! Hope you get to feeling better soon! |

| What a sweetheart!! Once I cried in front of Kimbo and he licked every tear off my face. My boy always knows how to make me smile.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | They can be nurses - I totally believe it. When I had a horrible flu and missed 4 days of work my 2 never once left my side. I felt so bad for them ...my son got them on their walks but it was still 24/7 in bed and they really knew how sick I was |

| Linus does the same thing!! I swear he can hear someone sneeze from a mile away and immediately runs to check on them! He does it in the house all the time, but the other day we were taking a walk and a man sneezed from his front porch 4 houses down and it was all I could do to keep him from attacking the guy (with kisses of course)!! |
