Wild Haired Yorkie!! 2 Attachment(s) First, I want to say that I love my Fiona the way she is. I was just wondering if anyone elses yorkie has a lion's head. No matter how much I brush her or how I cut the hair around her face it will not lay down. She does her shake after brushing and it is like "puff", wild hair again. I thought when she got older it would hang like the other yorkie coats I see. Even longer then it currently is, it will not hang straight. Here are photos of what I am talking about. (things do get better with a bow!):) |

She's so pretty, I love it. My girl has the lion look too:D. When it's almost time for bath time and she has that greasy hair I play with it. She can even carry a mohawk do. |
Fiona is such a sweetie!! :p I don't know what to tell you though, Bailey's hair is stick straight. I think Fiona looks gorgeous with her lion hair! |

You know, it's just like with our own hair...we always want what we don't have and never feel completely satisfied! Sometimes I think that Chloe's hair is just too limp and I wish I could get it to "fluff" more. It seems to just sorta hang there. I love Fiona's hair! Like you, I keep waiting on Chloe's hair to get long enough to fix itself, lol! :) -C |
Thanks for the nice comments everyone!! I guess it is the way it is. I would probably be asking how to make it "fluff" more if it wasn't the way it is!:p Since changing her food to Blue her hair is much thicker due to the fact that she is growing lots of new hair and those are still short. Maybe some hair gel is in order............................ |

What a riot. She even has that "take that" look on her face. She is sooo cute. I only wish Moto's hair looked that fun, my son would love to do the spikes. She should of been an 80's baby, think mall hair and punk rock. |
Adorable 1 Attachment(s) Your Fiona is adorable, in the last photo she is looking a bit of a "Tom Boy" Did it make you smile when you saw the mess she was in, it certainly made me giggle. By the way my boy's hair has a mind of it's own too, it doesn't sit up like Fiona's but it always looks scruffy, he's growing it long now for winter but it still curls |

She is such a little doll. What a cutie!! Muffin's hair does the same thing only it fluffs like a feather duster. I have to keep it up in a pony tail or a barrett just so it's not in her eyes. |
Lion Mane on Bella, Too! Hi, Bella has that same look. I think the hair just needs to get longer. Then it wil be more tame. We are ready to cut Bella into a very short puppy cut for summer so soon her Lion Look will turn to "Motorcycle Butch". She, like Finona, is adorable no matter what! Let it grow and keep it conditioned. |
Joey's hair in the front won't part, either...it sticks straight out, so I have to cut it REALLY short if I want it out of his face. |
I can't say why it happens but thank goodness it does! She is a precious little lion!:D |
