Im sorry but i always see people letting their dog do this

Even when i take my dog to the vet. he would pick him up and my dog would start licking him all on his mouth and im standing there like

yuck. I wouldnt want to be your wife with you come home to me after work.Im sorry but don't you think thats nasty???

Absolutely not! My dogs are always giving kisses . . .you just have to watch Rhianna . . she likes to actually try to stick her tongue in things while kissing . . .For me, it doesn't gross me out at all . . .

I don't deliberately let her do it ,but her toungue has occasionally slipped in lol or up the nose as well. It doesn't gross me out though, she brushes her teeth which is more than some boyfriends I used to have lol

Before owning a yorkie I may have agreed with you, but Toby is a total kisser. He's the sweetest little thing and yes, he kisses on the mouth. Lola is just starting to follow suit. Yorkies have a way of changing everything!!

My Maggie has a lightening fast tongue! We used to have licking contests where I would stick out my tongue and she would stick out hers. UNTIL she totaly licked my tongue. It was bad. It was warm and there was friction and it was super nasty. I don't have licking contests with her anymore, but she does lick my face, my mouth, etc.

i used to be totally grossed out when people did this as well, but having Sadie and wanting her to actually lick rather than nip at my face i'm super duper happy getting puppy kisses from her, wish i was full of them right now, gosh i'm missing her so much.

I totally love yorkie kisses but I try to limit them to the nose and cheek but every now and then one will do a sneak attack and land a big one on my lips. It really isn't all that bad, unless it is a momma that has been cleaning up after their pups.

sorry but i have to dissagree with you on this , poppy kisses us all the time and she wont settle for anywhere only the lips , mind you she is cleaner than some humans , and she is one of the family

Not only do I let Ellie, I make kissing noises to encourage it.

Ellie is just about the only dog I let do it though.
I don't like mouth kisses much from other dogs, especially if their teeth don't get brushed.

lol Im sure the op will grow to love it , I don't know about anyone else but it makes me feel special when she wants a kiss.
