Wow! How rude. All the money in the world won't buy class, eh? I hate to categorize people before knowing them, but I work in what is considered an "elite" part of town and some of the holier-than-thou attitudes I run into I find hilarious. It really makes me think that there must be other areas of people's lives where they are so unhappy, that they have to compinsate for it some way just to make themselves feel better.

(For the record, I drive a Mustang and am most certainly NOT what I would consider rich. :p)

It took me a long time to deal with people like this. I finally got a clue: when you get the "I'm so much better than you and ready to let you know it" vibe, as they step out of their car, sidle up to you in a store, or party, you turn your head the other way and walk away. That's the only way to put a snoot in her place!

I would just like to state that #1 discussing money is so pass'e. I would have told her If you have to ask how much something costs, You probably cant afford it.

I am so sorry that woman treated poorly. Wish I would have been with you, I would have put her in her place. Remember this, there is nothing stronger or sexier than a woman with confidence. No money in the world can buy that. Sounds like she has none. Walk with your head up and shoulders back and remember, you are a great mom.

It's a shame money can't buy manners. My Mother always taught us that it was impolite to ask what something cost. Your baby is probably more loved and cared for than hers, because hers is just a thing. Whereas yours is a part of your life. Feel sorry for that little girl, she probably only gets attention when she is a great accessory, you know, matches her outfit.

I just wanted to say thank you all for your nice words!!:) I wish I could have come up with some of the comments that you guys did. but at the time I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe this was happening. and your right I did feel sorry for that darling little girl, I could tell she was nothing more than a prop. I was so hoping that a fly ball would have hit her in the head. I am just glad I did not have my yorkiechon along with us, I'm sure she would have had a field day with me over that.

Wow...thanks a lot. You have just insulted my car. Her feelings are very hurt. :p It wasn't "pointless" to me when they knocked $6K off the price because it was the only V6 left on the lot.:thumbup:

I don't know what has gotten into people these days. charging so little for these Yorkie's, when they are supposed to be expensive, because they are meant for the elite and wealthy, and some of these breeders are making it so that just anyone can have one, and ruining the reputation of the breed!!! can you believe this, I said well im sorry I better keep walking, Riley is not fixed and you have a girl there, and we wouldn't want some "DELIVERANCE" puppy's now would we?, That woman was lucky it was me she was talking to, instead of someone else. I live in the country and another woman here would have hit her..regardless of weather her hair was as blue as her Yorkie's or not!!I cant stand arrogant people that carry their soapbox around with them, and think they no it all and that they are better than everyone else..I was soooooo mad, Act like my Yorkie is not worthy just because Of the price I payed for him. or that I dont have any business having one because Im not RICH.
I sure hope she shows up at another ball game, I have a feeling you will be ready for her.

I have to say that I just got home from a baseball game and thought about this thread while I was walking through the parking lot. I started laughing and looking around, hubby asked me what I was doing. I said, "Looking for rude, rich women with Yorkies and Mustangs." He didn't bother to ask for an explanation of that one. :p
