One thought...I read here some time ago that if your pet gets off leash for some reason the best way to get them to come back to you is not to go after them but to make it a game of chasing you instead. i've used this a couple times when Tuffy has gone out the door with MILs Jack Russell; just turned around, called out "look" & started skipping the other way...he gave chase & I snatched him up! :)

At around 3:30am we decided to head home since we lost it in the dark since it was running into allies and such. When we got to our gate, she was there and we happened to corner her. We kept it overnight and this morning we took her walking around the block to see if she would know where to take us and she took us straight to her house. Last night she was on the opposite side of the neighborhood and that was probably why she couldn't find her house.

The older lady who owned the yorkie had just gotten out of bed and didn't even realized her yorkie was missing. She said she was wondering why her dog wasn't in her bed and was about to look for her when we came knocking. It was so nice seeing how excited the yorkie was to see her owner again. I can't imagine how I would feel if my Bella went missing and I was thinking, what if someone else found her yorkie and didn't return her:(

But, I know every yorkie owner would spend an hour or two in the middle of the night chasing down someone\'s lost yorkie. I\'m so proud of myself :D
