And you do know the term bitch applies to FEMALE DOGS ONLY here right ? I'm telling the moderator - where is ANN ? I already requested you go to the bad girls chair and now you just gave me another reason... and Jen - does this give me back the #1 spot with Dave ? I mean really - look what she just said ! |
HaHa - Jen is probably including me on the card..since I hijacked this thread...:p As a side note...one more reason I never married...I can't cook..I just made waffles using one of those waffle machines that flip over and beep when done...they were still awful...of course it might be because I didn't have enough mix... Yes Vee just used on here...as a joke... I LUV YA GAL!!! |
Hey Jen, does Forrest like toys? I just got some adorable plush squeaky toys from Jenny (Mimimomo) and I wondered if Forrest would like to have a couple? I could bring them with me when I come on Friday. |
I love this. This story made my day. Thank you :) |
I love this story also, I agree you should start a journal "The Adventures of Forrest and Louis". They have made my day and won my heart. |
I am just seeing this now!! Love the pictures, Jen! |
Thank you for sharing this with us.:) |
OMG.....I leave for awhile.... come back...AND....look what happened.....I've rehomed my dh....several times over!!! *notes for Dave* One lives in Colorado - Rocky mts...Yippee!! uses butt caulk though? Skin toned would be better:D One lives in Houston - King Ranch not far.....Yippee! Big Blue Eyes....good thing, dh is an "eye guy";) One in Okla - near your Dad.....good deal! Has as many dogs as we do though....out of the frying pan into the fire:D All three are sassy women, very sweet (most of the time:D).....I can see he will have a tough decision on his hands......But....ladies....some sad news.... .....You'll have to get in line behind my two younger sisters - they've wanted my dh for 30 years now! Although, I'm pulling for one of you three - I know you love yorkies!!!!:D |

Thank you! LOL...we actually have called Louis, "Bubba" like Forrest's friend in the movie. "The Adventures".....could be the animal version sequel to the movie. |
I think you might have to change Forrest's status in the family from "foster" to permanent resident:D. Love this story, thanks for sharing! |

Jen, what a wonderful story. I'm getting glassy eyed reading about it, I am at work so I'd better control myself. :) Wouldn't it be great if they could be adopted together? As you know, my Max is a yorkiepoo and dang he is smart! There's just something about poodles. My two might be on their way to becoming buddies...When Max goes upstairs, Lily waits at the bottom very impatiently for him to come back. She's very vocal when she can't wait any longer. Anyhow...I'm glad to see that Forrest is getting better. |
1 Attachment(s) I just spoke with Jen. Our little Forrest went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday after unexpected complications of his MVD. I am so thankful that Forrest's last days were with Jen and her husband, where he finally got to know love, make a friend, and experience some joy in his too short life. Thank you, Jen. Jen's husband carved a memorial, these are Jen's words: "This is a yorkie carving Dave is making out of a tree stump (tree was severely damaged after the ice storm a couple of years ago). When our old cattle dog died in 2008, we buried Patch there on the east side of the yorkie tree, Forrest is on the south side. I am making this my pet memorial garden area and if Dave is still here in this house after I'm gone, I want my ashes scattered there. If you would like you may share the *picture* with the YT family." RIP sweet Forrest. |
Jen & Dave...how special you are to give Forrest such love and security and I know he holds a very special place in your heart. We know the powers to be works in strange ways sometimes but this little dude was sent to you for love. Forrest please say hi to my little ones that are at the Rainbow Bridge and I know you are running around now and seeing all your old buddies. PS What a very special carving... |
