That woman sounds like a wack job. If I had that little male, I wouldn't ever stud him again. He would be loved as a family pet/member. But, you did score with the Puppia as others said. To OwnedbyJezebel: If I would have seen that family and those two girls running with that dog; I would have intervened as I wouldn't have been able to keep my mouth shut in that situation. Perhaps, the parents weren't really paying close attention to their girls, but whatever, there's no excuse for that kind of cruel outrageous behavior. Once while shopping at the pet shop I go to for Molly's food; there was a grandmother, mother and young girl ( maybe 5 or so) with their newly acquired puppy. I think they said it was an Austrailian pointer? Something like that. He was a 16 week old pup, but a big one as this was obviously going to be a big dog. Anyway, as the grandmother and mother were preoccupied with paying for their 2 carts of various items for the pup, the little girl started blowing a whistle close to the pup's ear. You could see he was obviously scared and almost looking like he was going to vomit. Anyway, I loudly scolded the girl and told her that she may not whistle in his ear and not to do it again. I then informed the mother who then scolded her again and had a more watchful eye on her after that. She thanked me and I wished them well with their new puppy. I do speak up in situations regarding animals and children as I don't want either to be mistreated, either intentionally or unintentionally. I don't mean this comment as a personal insult to you, it's just my personal opinion (OwnedbyJezebel), it's just that I myself couldn't have stood by seeing and hearing this without saying something in a polite manner. :animal36 |
