I just moved from my place with laminate and my new place has hardwood. I used my shark steam mop on the laminate and plan to do the same on the hardwood! It's technically scent-less but still everything ends up having a "clean" smell when I'm done! And it does wonders for Layla's paw prints left all over the place! |

Hmmm I wonder if that may be a problem with our hardwoods too when we get around to cleaning them... they're original from 1916 and have not been refinished. I may try the steam mop this weekend and see if it works... |

That's a different version of the steam mop, so I'm really not sure how it works. The one I have is the steam pocket mop, which supposedly holds more steam/heat. It's this model: ![]() |

I bought this model but haven't tried it yet. I am trying to cut back on all the chemicals that I use to clean the house with. Does it do a good job? |

Hot water with a drop of Murphy's Oil Soap. Thankfully I don't have to worry about "accidents." |

I was under the impression that steam mops were not good for wood floors. I thought it dulls the finish and wraps it? |
