Here is a list of top breeders in the World Welcome in www.sweetyblue.com - BREEDERS I can't tell you how much I love her dogs and as a person (heard from her just a couple months ago) This woman would not brag if she was #1 in the world. I really don't care for the other line but that is just me. |
I like both lines just fine. I think they are both beautiful. |
Confused - "Authorized Parquins Yorkshire Terrier Breeder?" Just noticed on My Elegant Paws website 2 very disturbing statements regarding the late and well respected Mr. Antonucci's Parquin's line. I'm completely confused over this. How can someone possibly be an Authorized Reseller of a line they have no claim to nor did they through years of experience and knowledge make such a statement and plaster it on their website as something official? How can someone possibly state they are "exclusively" breeding the Parquin's line when they announce they are in a working relationship with Heavenly Yorkshires who by their own website, does NOT raise nor breed that line exclusively? I would hope people looking for this particular line fully investigate these bogus claims -- this has scam written all over it, in my opinion. |

Parquins owner was murdered in March'08 Raymond Antonucci was murdered in his Florida home in March. Nevertheless, he was an interesting man to talk to, and he had some nice dogs, but IMO his breeding was not always as good as Durrer's. |

Simple Answer I have been looking for a pair of Parquins' dogs for quite some time, conduct my research carefully, including this particular forum, and ran across this particular site. I am completely aware of the tragic situation of Mr. Antonucci, and frankly it is quite disturbing to see things clearly written that are absolutely untrue coming from so-called 'reputable' breeders. Just because a breeder has 'breeding rights' does not constitute a marketable "Authorized Reseller" in the true business sense of the words. And as I stated, I was confused, and it 'seemed' to be a possible scam "in my opinion." While it was my first post, it simply means that I've had nothing to respond to nor 'chat' about on this forum. It is used for information, but this particular situation I felt necessary to question. |
Marcel's pedigree is full of Durrer. :) |

Durrer is the best Our LITTLE OLIVER *** THE STAR OF OUR SHOW *** Is a Durrer's yorkie ... He is the second Yorkie we have from her ... our first Rudy was a bundle of LOVE hence name RUDY ..Rudolph Valentino and now Oliver..Oliver Twist... as a pup he just had to pick a pocket or two .. ****We Love Betty Ann Durrer **** |
I don't care how old this thread is... I've just gotta say I wish I could have a Durrer. Not sure what kind of price range they would sell for. If Marcel and SuSu are from the Durrer line, that says it all (plus the pics of her puppies on the site). That is the exact look that I would love to have in my Yorkie. Beautiful! So, curiously... what is an average price for one of her pups - sold as "pet", not "show". Edited to say.... I bet Oliver is a cutie too but I can't see his face behind his sunglasses (which are adorable!) LOL |
I was just rereading my post on this thread. where I was going to get a little female from this line, But right now my heart is so broken I dont think we will be getting her. |
When I bought Piper the breeder told me that Piper's mother was from the Durrer line. I didn't even knew what that meant. I just looked at her AKC papers and sure enough the Durrer's are on it. |

I also favor the Durrer lines. I guess this is because my Pia's pedigree is full of it. :D I do think both are beautiful. ;) |
This thread prompted me to look up Lexi's pedigree, and she has two Durrer's in hers! :) |
