| Hi! I don't know what to tell you about how to get your boy to stop biting the new puppy. We had the same problem when we brought our pup Dexter home and eventually they worked it out. We had a careful eye on them and if Dex was playing too hard we would separate, especially if we could tell the other was about to go nuts. At 3mos old all they want to do is play and bite everything that moves, and even those that don't Eventually they will realize that neither of them are going anywhere and at the very least they will tolerate each other. Sorry I can't offer more than that, I'm sure someone much smarter than I about this sort of thing will give you some good advice |

| They just need some time to adjust to each other. For the past 4 years he was an only "child" and now all of a sudden their is this tiny little maniac in his face, biting and trying to play with him. She your new little girl is still a puppy she is full of energy and wants to play. play, play! If she gets too crazy you can always put her into her crate or play area for a puppy time out. When I brought home Doodlebug, Pebbles drooled for about 2 weeks. Eventually, they all worked it out and now the three get along great! Welcome to YT! We would LOVE to see some pictures of both your little ones

| I am hoping I don't have the same thing happen! I am getting a little girl Yorkie this Spring, but Mr.Darcy is only one and a half, and loves to play all the time still. He plays with any dog he can (that is his size-I am too afraid to let a big dog play with him), so our new addition should be a 'happy' event for him?????????

| Help! I'm in the same situation and I'm very confused. We've had our Dog for 10 years and he is king of the house. Mom decided to buy herself another puppy, he's very cute and wants to play but my older dog turns away everytime he comes near. I'm so worried! My older does sniff him from time to time but at a distance of more than 5 inches. Anything else makes him literally turn away and flee. Is he scared??? Will this go on for long? I'm so sad to see him this way... |
