You would think, but when my daughter was an infant I had strangers, more then once, try to lift her out of her seat or try to take her out of my arms to hold her. I was a young mom and you could imagine how I was at a lost for words. i mentioned that in the other thread i think. another thing that creeps me out is when men in the line at the grocery store would talk to my daughter. i don't mean just saying, "hello. you're cute" and ending it. i mean talking and talking. i would always push the buggy up and do something to stop it. i just know my husband is normal and he would never do that just because he's aware of all the sickos out there and knows it's creepy!
there was a man a few weeks ago at subway who said to ME, "is that your daughter? she's gorgeous!" but he never said a word to her - and that was a proper way to go about it.
the world is full of freaks, unfortunately. if you can't two step your away around them - sometimes you just have to be blunt - whether it's your dog or your skin baby, lol. |
