Yorkie Meet-Up @ Quiet Waters -- Annapolis, MD
 
Bo (Mom to Hot Rod) along with Lauren (Banditsocks2), Yolanda (Luvmyyorkies2) and Michelle (tigerlilyscene) are trying to set up a Yorkie get together for Sunday, April 18th.

We did this in May of last year and it was actually the first time I went to this particular park... Jackson was only maybe 6 months old at the time. Now we go every week! I *love* this park. You can check it out at www.friendsofquietwaterspark.org. The place was full of Yorkies, even non YT members, and I usually run into at least 1 other Yorkie every time I go there.

So if anyone wants to join, just reply to this thread or let us know!

When: Sunday, April 18th, 2010
Where: Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis, MD
Time: 11:00am
Price: $6 (it is a $6 one-time entry fee, or $40 for yearly pass).

If you wanna exchange phone #'s, just PM any one of us, or if you need better directions.

Thats sounds like fun. Me and Callie would like to come but I have to check my schedule and stuff thats the day after my birthday :D

I've not been to this park in awhile but it is definitely one of the nicer dog parks around. It's more than just a dog park, there is lots of areas to just roam around. So if you wanted to just chill awhile after or before the meetup you could. The dog park area is a really, really big area so you can have little groups together. :)

Hope we'll see lots of you guys there! I am so looking forward to this after all the snow and rain we've had. BTW, I am inviting some friends that have other small breeds so if you would like to do that, please feel free to bring along your friends and their furbabies. :) Bo

Me and Callie should definitely be coming and we are very excited. My mom and maybe my dad will be coming too because sundays are like our family day when we normally take Callie to our near dog park and stuff.

That is awesome!! The more the merrier! I wish my mom was more into the dog thing but she's just not lol. My dad is however. I brought my mom to the dog park once and she just didn't get it, lol. She's not a dog person! But yay I'm so happy Jackson will have another Yorkie that's his size! :p

My mom calls herself Callies Grammy and my dad is Grandpy lol. My dad actualy went with me to a dog party at petsmart and someone he knew was there and he picked Callie up and went this is my granddog and I dont even think he introduced me.

So funny! I was behind a car the other day with a bumper sticker that said "My grandchild is a DOG. So what?" or something like that.

My own grandma calls Jackson her granddog lol. And my aunt calls him her nephew dog. lol.

I am actually going to be in Baltimore this weekend for a cheer comp with my daughter! We haven't decided yet if we are bringing the dogs or sending them to a friend's house here in VB. If we decide to bring them would you kind if we stopped by? I would love to do something like this! Just depends on the plans! Thanks for planning it! :-)

I've gotta go put my camera on the charger... lol. It's totally dead and I almost forgot about it! I'll bring my DSLR even tho sometimes it's a pain to lug around lol. I'll try to shove it in my purse.
