Callie has two steps because her elbow over extends and the vet said no jumping so we started with one set and she took to those awesomely so we got another set due to having to move them a lot. Its better for them to use steps then jump. I think I would be way nervous with a 2 pounder also Callie is 15 and I still get nervous about somethings. |

We have a set next to our bed. Charlie would jump off of the bed in the middle of the night (to chase the cat, I think) and then have to wake me up to get back in bed. That got old, so I bought a set of stairs. He goes right up them, but prefers to jump off - and nothing I could do could convince him to go down the stairs to got off of the bed. I'll have to try again. The first night we had Henry, I went to show him how to use the stairs - and made Charlie go up them a few time so he'd get the idea. After a few tries he looked at my like I was crazy and proceeded to jump on the bed all by himself. I was stunned b/c I didn't think he'd be able to do it. I guess since his legs are longer he's got more spring. :) P |
