So sorry you are forced to do this and know that this is so painful for you. I hope you work with Megansmoma, she's a very trustworthy member here, and can steer you in the right direction and help you select a suitable family. The main thing is finding a good permanent home for your little boy. |
Not sure if it was posted here or not but there might be another way. You could go to your doctor and get a note that you have the dog for medical reasons. I say this because my dad is a landlord..;).. and he tells me that if a doctor writes a note for "medical" reasons they have to let you keep the dog... at least it does here. Might wanna look into that.... |
that's HORRIBLE!!!! what do they expect people to do? Is there any way of getting out of your lease? I question the legality of that...Is there anyone who could take them until your lease is up, if you don't have too long to go? |

We live in an apartment and if our landlord changed their policies before our lease was through than they would be the one voiding the contract. I hope that you take the advice and help that has been offered. There is no way that if my landlords violated the contract that I would consider staying. Good luck! |
Star - I'm going to send you a PM with an offer of help that I hope you take me up on. I will send it to you personally so that you do not feel like you have to respond here. Please be on the lookout for my note. |

Sounds like you have some good news to report. We are all still here if you if this new plan/option does not work out. Please keep us posts how things are going with your situation. :) |

I hope everything works out for you! You shouln't have to get rid of your baby because of irresponsible tenants. Where I live there are some pet owners who NEVER pick up after themselves  and people started complaining to the HOA, so they can place a fine on who gets caught doing it. |
I am local to you and would be willing to look after your little guy until you can move ... I don't want to keep another Yorkie, you would get him back as soon as you moved but I cannot afford to pay for him, nor would I keep him if you moved and want him back... I'm just offering to foster him (you'll have full visitation rights of course) until you are back on your feet! I have 2 4 1/2 year old boys right now and they are spoiled rotten.... so he would be in good hands. |
