				   | It is very subtle but I think her back is starting to turn silver. I am excited just because its fun to watch the color of thier coat take its course. At what age do they normally start turning sivler on the back? Does it just vary alot for different yorkies? I was just curious, as Chloe is about 10 months.

				   | I had the same question about turning Silver/ Grey I was noticing that Snickers is a light silver/ grey on her head, is that normal she is still young. she is only 3 1/2 months now.its just at the top of her head.

				   | Princess was starting at about 10 months. She will be three in March, I think her coat changing is over.

				   | Susan and Little Bit will be 6 mos in a few weeks (on another thread I said they were going to be 5 ms, but I was wrong). Little Bit has been silvering on her back and sides for at least a month. She's still mostly dark, but has enough blue to give her an all over silver sheen. Susan is BLACK, but she's starting to get a little tiny bit of silver right where her back legs attach to her body and behind her back "knees." I'm glad to hear they normally change so late because with Little Bit so far ahead, I was thinking Susan was going to stay black. There's Yorkie up the road from Mom. Maddy is I guess close to a year and she is completely silver at least at a distance. |

				   | My Chloe is a beautiful silvery gray on back and very light beige at her feet, face, etc. She's 1 1/2. I bought CC Ice on Ice and it is helping Chloe's cottony coat look so silky. |

				   | Each Yorkie it seems by reading the posts definitely had their own personal time frame on the color changing. If I remember correctly, Schatzie was appx. 6 months or so when she began her color change. She too is very silvery on her neck and down her back with very blondish feet and face. My friends Yorkie (whom I am persistantly trying to get her on YT) is solid black w/ no silver and i think she's just gorgeous! There has not been any color combination on a Yorkie yet I haven't liked.

				   | Chloe is 5 months and she is loosing all of her baby coat. Looking pretty thin right now, but I see new hair coming in. And that new hair is silver!!!! Her little head has been silver for about a month now. It is so neat to see how the coat coloring changes!!!! |

				   | Milo starting changing shortly after we got him (11 weeks). He is 4.5 months now and the silver is nearly an inch long along his back, with black on top still. Pretty cute (although he can look like a skunk right after we brush him and he has a strong part down the middle of his back!). Anyway, I thought this was a little early...he was the only one in the litter that had started to change...his mom was very light (blondish/silver) though. cute! Chandra and Milo |
